The petting brush is unique and my kitten likes it, but as she’s a medium haired cat, it doesn’t do much for actually helping her shed.The main itself works wonderfully, and it’s super easy to remove hair from it – just a light press of the button, that is close to where the hand rests. The grip on the brush is comfortable to hold.The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the nail clippers are definitely meant for bigger dogs. I have 2 huskies, but didn’t want to use the full size clipper on the kitten, so I got this set – as it’s labeled as being for cats and small dogs. Well the clippers are still meant for my big huskies. They are really good clippers though, as I’ve used them on my huskies since I’m not using it on my kitten. They cut through the thick nails very easily, and smoothly.

The nail cutters are great, and so it this brush! I got it because my cat had a build up of dandruff that needed to be brushed and washed out. I would very much recommend!

Scissors are a bit difficult to use
Overall, the items are satisfactory for removing loose fur, but the scissors are very tight and stiff to operate. I hope they loosen up as they are repeatedly used.

Over all a decent purchase, the only thing I was disappointed about was the brush. I pushed the button to release the fir and it still stuck in the brush. I purchased this kit especially for that item. Everything else works great.
