Great buy, works great
I needed a cooling pad for my laptop which gets hot. This is perfect for the job. It took a while to get used to picking it up with my computer. No more hot, sweaty lap. It cools it right down. It has some nice color changing, but I don’t really see that, as it is under my laptop. It is very quiet. There are many to choose from, but this is the one I settled on and I’m glad I did. Works great. It even includes an extra USB port. The price is very reasonable. I highly recommend

Does the job well and quietly
So if you put your ear to the platform you will hear a normal whirring sound, but at normal operating distances it’s basically silent. The volume of air pushed up into my laptop is sufficient enough to lower the operating temperature, based upon just a simple sensory test of the computers air output; sorry, no gauges used, just my hand. The USB plug has a piggyback female port, so if you’re worried losing the use of a computer port, you need not. You can also use an external battery brick to power the fans if you don’t want to plug anything into your laptop directly. As for the light show (LEDs changing color), who cares. With your laptop on the platform, you really can’t see the effect.

Great Laptop Cooling Pad
I purchased this cooling pad about 1.5 months ago so I’ve had plenty of time to enjoy it and I can tell you I am very happy with the purchase. There is barely any noise compared to other cooling pads I’ve had in the past, it is very light and one of the best features is the built-in USB adapter so that while you have one USB port being in use for the cooling pad you can also use that to have something else plugged in (like a mouse or whatever you want to use). This is great considering most laptops have only 2 or 3 USB ports.The colored lights when it’s on are also nice to look at, but it’s not something you will see often.I do recommend this product!

Good for Price – Temps Drop by Ten Degreess
I bought this item for the price, and it is pretty decent if you’re expecting quality for that amount. When I initially purchased the product, it lowered my GPU and CPU temps by ~10 degrees, regardless of idle or heavy game use (e.g., Fallout 4). On heavy game use, my CPU went from 86 c down to 75 c; GPU at 82 c down to 65-72 c. My my laptop still felt physically super toasty to the touch even with the cooling pad. After a week or so of use, though, my laptop seems to have adapted(?) to the cooling pad, because the temps rose again while on heavy game use, now reaching sometimes 91 CPU and 85 GPU. No change in gaming activity or environment since using it, so I can only rule out that the cooling pad might be keeping some of the warm air underneath it. However, if I exit out of a game and just let it sit on idle with the pad, it brings the temps back down to a nice 45 CPU and 39 (c) GPU. Take note that I tested this cooling pad through hours of daily use (2-6 hours per session) and with my internal laptop fan on high/extreme-cooling, so if you’re not gaming intensively or for extended periods of time, this should work just fine for you. I don’t regret the purchase because I knew what I was getting for the price.Design suggestions for maker: The USB cable could be longer. To avoid draining my battery, I plug the USB into a plug in my surge protector rather than using the laptop to charge it. I have to bring my laptop really close in order for it to connect.

My laptop is older and, unfortunately, has a tendency to overheat sometimes. I have a couple of cats, and so I’m constantly cleaning cat fur out of the vents. I even had it cleaned inside, so no more fur. Problem is, the laptop’s built in fans just are not as they once were. So it can get pretty warm. So I bought this fan.My laptop doesn’t overheat anymore Yes it still gets a bit warm, but nowhere *near* what used to be happening. And, for that, I’m grateful. This fan is nice and quiet, which is what I like, and, while it’s taller than I had anticipated, it’s forward tilt means my wrists are in a much more natural position on my laptop which means means my hands don’t hurt as much. So this is a good product for its price.

A good way to keep a laptop cool
This is overall a good laptop cooling pad. It does the job of keeping the laptop cool. The biggest problem I have is getting the air intake area on the bottom of the laptop aligned with the fans. When I do get it aligned, it is so far down on the pad that the laptop almost slides off completely. There are two little feet to hold the laptop back, but this doesnât allow the laptop to be down far enough. This might just be a problem with my laptop models. The usb cable has a pass through port, but Iâm not sure if I trust it. I worry about voltages being too high or something, but this is probably an unfounded fear. Overall, this is a good solution for an overheating laptop. For the price, it is incredible. Oh yeah, the fans have rgb lights that cycle through colors slowly. This is a moot point, as the laptop completely covers up the fans. Oh well.

Finally shuts up Dell 7420 fan
Work issued Dell 7420 fan would just run constantly no matter the workload for just office type work and nothing graphically intense.This cooler does the job to cool this thing down enough where the fan barely runs now. The cooler fans are near silent vs the dell fan has a high pitched shrill. Thereâs little legs to rise the stand a bit for improved airflow. The led lights donât make any sense as the laptop sits on top of them so never see the lights which is a plus for me anyhow. Thereâs no way to turn them off.This is quieter than the laptop fan, cools better, and am easy solve vs trying to work with company it help desk to figure out why the stock fan wonât shut up.
