Keeps drinks cold
This insulated steel bottle keeps my drinks ice cold for hours during bicycle rides. I’ve literally forgotten it sitting in the sun, and come back for it hours later and there was still ice inside. I was looking for easy, 1 hand operation with a lockable cover that would protect the mouthpiece from any dirt and splash. This fit the bill almost perfectly. The mouthpiece is always clean, the top never popped open accidentally, the lock is easy to use with one hand, but occasionally the push button to release the cover needs a second push to flip the top open. As for cleaning, the bottle is great – use a bottle brush – and the top has many smooth contours, but I usually let the top rack of the dishwasher take care of that. If you prefer a different top, maybe with a straw, or large opening, many of their tops are interchangeable. And they have a great warranty. This is the best insulated sports bottle I’ve found so far.

I live in the high desert where it is often hot and dry in the summer. I always bring water and iced tea with me in the car and when I go on walks. I’ve tried a number of different insulated travel mugs and bottles over the years and these are my favorite. The ones I used most often previously were the 17 ounce stainless vacuum bottles with a narrow neck. My previous favorite travel mug was the 17 oz. GEMFUL Travel Coffee Mug. I prefer the Contigo Jackson because: it holds more, it’s easier for me to hold, and it has a much wider mouth to drink from.I like that the body of these narrows a little about 1/4 of the way down which makes them easy to hold. They fit well in my car cup holders and in the bottle holders of my packs. I put a strap through the handles when I use these with my pack to ensure they can’t fall out.I like the wide mouth (for adding ice) and I like the narrower but fairly wide mouth piece which allows me to chug. The locking works really well but the push button does not always flip open the lid. I think it fails when the pressure inside the bottle is lower than the pressure outside. For me this is just not a problem because I use a finger or thumb to flip it open. It’s still very convenient.Several times I have left one overnight about a quarter full with water and ice. A lot of the ice ice was still there the next morning.I like these so much, I use them around the house now as well as in the car and on hikes. I have a couple of the non-insulated ones which are great for the wintertime but in the summer, good vacuum insulation is the way to go.

The Best Water Bottle!
Perfect Insulated Water Bottle for any germaphobes that loves ice water.-Dishwasher safe-Perfect insulation! Ten hours before the ice will begin to melt.- Push button flip open drinking spout cover. It’s more sanitary because your fingers will not come into contact with the spout.-No straw. The opening is no smaller than a commercial bottle of water so a straw is not needed.I couldn’t find them anywhere but Amazon. Little pricy but worth it so I bought two.

Good insulation but fragile handle
I bought this bottle to carry room temperature water with me during wintertime, and it doesn’t get colder indeed. I like the bottle’s capacity.However, the carrying handle broke near one of the hinges within a couple of weeks of active usage. I bought an identical bottle and its handle also broke off after 2 months of less intensive usage.Additionally, the bottle doesn’t hold very well in my backpack’s outer pocket, especially when the inside of the backpack is more empty.

The autopop lid is the best!
I hate lids that have a million parts and pieces or straws that harbor bacteria. When I found the AutoPop lid from Contigo, I fell in love. Not only does it not have tons of hiding places for bacteria, it’s so quick to open and guzzle my water. It helps me keep my water intake up by not restricting how much I can drink or keeping me fumbling with a lid or a straw just for a sip. Plus – it’s leak-proof and you can even lock the lid so it doesn’t inadvertently pop open in your bag. I love it so much that when I broke my last bottle (fell off the lawnmower when I was mowing the yard and landed on the lid just in the wrong way) I was absolutely devastated. It was my favorite water bottle and I took it everywhere like Linus and his blanket. Sadly, it seems like these bottles are not very popular as my local Walmart did not carry one single AutoPop container. I’m so glad I found this one on Amazon and will be far more careful now that I know how hard they are to find!Edit 4/22/24 – now on my 4th bottle because I forgot one and could wait for a month to go back and get it, then left another in a rental car. That’s how much I love this bottle. I can’t live without it.

EXCELLENT LARGE WATER BOTTLE
Doesn’t leak. Does NOT fit in auto cup holders. Just slightly too big. Is a little heavy when filled. Does a great job keeping water cold. Flip cap sticks a little. Otherwise, it’s great. Glad I purchased it. I also purchased the 24 oz bottle (different cap, not as heavy when filled) that in some ways is preferable but IT LEAKS FROM THE SNAP CLOSURE ON THE CAP. VERY FRUSTRATING! Leaking was the reason I shopped for new water bottles in the first place. Maybe this cap is defective in some way. I haven’t had time to contact seller. Just making sure it’s upright for now. Very nice colors for bottles.
