    Adorable & Creative!
I got this to do with my little one and I think that not only is it a great idea, but it’s just such a creative thing! My daughter and I are going to have such a good time creating our kites and then setting them to ‘sail’ into the wind!I think to make it even more fun, I’ll bring them over to my BFF & her lil BFF’s house and the 3 of them can all create their little masterpieces together and then fly them! This was such a great idea to whomever created this! I think this would be a great gift as well! I mean most kids like to color and most kids like kites, so combining the two and letting them fly a kite they created for the ‘world’ to see would be a huge hit!I just had an idea… I’m sharing it, and it may seem crazy or out there to some, but I know for my little one (she’s 4), this would help her, so maybe this might be helpful to someone else (I hope). We had to put our dog Laci (who was also only 4) to sleep and it was and it beyond heartbreaking and my baby is still very hurt and “wants her back” and “wants to see her”. When we went to the fair this past Fall, she let her balloon go because she wanted to let it go up to heaven for Laci to tell her she loves her (unprompted – how sweet was that?!) So, I think one day when she’s having a rough day, we’ll make kites for Laci to see and tell her we love her, etc., and then my little girl can have a BIT of a less heavy heart. Hopefully.

    Kite kit
My son has been obsessed with “making” kites out of construction paper and yarn so this was a great gift for him, he was very excited to receive it. The material is like a vinyl type material and it comes with markers. They do draw lightly on the material and we have yet to fly them but it’s been fun designing them so far.UPDATE: We flew one and it flew well for my little guy only used maybe 8-10 ft of cord and he got it up in the air. The ribbons attached are super long but he had fun with it.

    Fun for the kids
I bought these because my Dad lives at the ocean and we go there to visit often and usually stay for a few days. I got these so my daughter and nephew could make and fly their own kite. I don’t think I have ever met a kid who hasn’t tried to make their own lite at some point, so these kits are perfect for that.

    Great Birthday Party Activity
I am very satisfied with the DIY Kite Making Kits for Boys and girls, Extremely Easy to Fly Kite,Kite Gifts for Kids, Party Gift Bags, Art and Charity Day Tow Project Activities(6 Pack). My grandkids have been making paper kites at their afterschool program. They’ve made them from lunch bags with crepe paper, and none of the kites have flown very well. They seem a little discouraged! When I saw this kit, I knew it would be the perfect thing for the next birthday party, which is in about ten days. The kit comes with a lot of stuff, but it helps to take it out and look at it well before you plan to do the activity with the children in your life. Do you want to let them paint their kites? Paint isn’t included, but they paint the kites in the product video. The kite kit comes with markers, kite string, the kite tail, and the cross-bars for the kite body. The kite fabric is a thin polyester fabric. It feels sort of like a really thin shower curtain, or the stuff wind breakers are made of.The cross pieces of the kite are super thin plastic! I wonder if I need to get some dowel rods to have on hand in case these pieces break? We’ll see.I’m really looking forward to doing this Kite Making activity with my grandkids. I can post “after” pictures, if it turns out well! For now, the materials look great and I’m not anticipating any problems.I plan to do this activity with grandkids ages 4 – 11. I think it will be too hard for the 4 yr old, but the rest will have fun.

Good so far…we’ll see how they hold up!
I got this for my 5yo son who doesn’t have a kite like his older sisters. It’s nice for him to be able to decorate them himself. OK…I’m letting his sisters have some also. The parts are all in order and they’re working well so far. I hope they hold up or he’ll be sad!

A big hit for the kids
We live in Florida so we go through kites pretty often. It came nicely packaged and I love that it came as a set of three. Pretty durable so far and easy to assemble.

Fun kit, I like the markers that come with it. Kit only had 3 kites
The pictures and the description are a little deceptive on this listing, I expected to receive six kites in total but I only received three. Only later did I realize that there were options to get three six or more, but the photos and the description say six kites. That said the actual kites themselves are made of a nice thin plastic material, it’s easy to use the markers to make art on them. It comes with string and a little handle to make find the kite easy. These are not super durable, but they work well enough. My kids had fun drawing on them.

    Great activity for creative kids
Making and personalizing and flying kites is cool. Kids really liked decorating their kites. We had a 9 year old, a 7 year old and a 4 year old make kites
