Good choice for sensitive skin
I purchased this in preparation for a trip. I wanted to be able to clean my face while on a flight but have super sensitive skin so normal makeup wipes burn and cause a lot of irritation. These are very similar to baby wipes. They have virtually no scent and work relatively well in getting off sunscreen. I haven tried with makeup yet so I can’t speak on that. I used about 2 or 3 and my face didn’t burn at all. I think it’s a good choice for those who want the convenience of a makeup wipe but can’t use regular ones.

Surpised how well these worked. The cloths were sturdy and wet enough. It took off my mascara, powder foundation, eye shadow and eye liner which is sometimes harder to remove. Smells okay, no chemical smells and did not irritate my skin. Will be getting more!

It’s OK for a face wipe.
I’d been interested in trying a micellar water product, and when I saw the facial cloths as an add-on item for a good price, why not? But I didn’t realize until I pulled it out of the box that it was makeup remover and not a facial cleanser. I don’t wear makeup all that often, and when I do I usually run through the whole routine unless it’s been one of those late nights. Any time I’m in a hurry to get to bed, or I’m too groggy in the morning – which is almost always, heh – I’ll still use these to remove whatever’s on my face at the time. I always follow with Paula’s Choice Resist BHA in any case, which is awesome and also removes whatever these or a face wash leaves behind. I don’t think the Simple wipes do a great job to remove eye makeup, though, and after seeing the warning not to get into your eyes (not a great sign for a makeup remover), I don’t rely on them for that purpose. I’ve been a fan of Neutrogena eye makeup remover for a long time, so I use that instead. The Simple wipes do a fair job of removing the rest of it, or whatever products I’ve slathered on my face the night before, and it also exfoliates in the process. I have sensitive skin, and it doesn’t irritate. But I think there are other products out there that may work as well or better, so I’ll try a different product next time.

Best facial cleansing wipes I’ve tried
I know everyone loves the neutrogena wipes but these are soooo much better. My face actually feels clean, soft, and there’s no residue on my skin. They’re gentle too. The other brand wipes feel harsh and sting. These don’t at all. It’s just like using a soft wash cloth. I’m a huge fan now!

I have Been buying simple wipes for over ten years and this package came (from Canada not the UK like it normally does ) and I later realised it’s out of date also. After using my under eyes swelled and my face was burned. Red large skin welts that are burning in pain. The pictures are not doing justice but I’m going to be making a official complaint about this 😭I like to say I normally love all simple products out of ENGLAND , not sure what they are putting in them in Canada.
