GREAT VALUE, GREAT PRODUCT!
I’ve owned this pair of speakers for a few months now and I like them. I bought this pair because I was looking for a pair of desktop speakers for my little computer setup. I didn’t need anything amazing or super loud or specific frequencies for music or video editing. I just wanted a good set of speaker that sounded good and were USB powered. I was looking for a direct connection and not Bluetooth, this pair just happened to include both options. The name recognition that Edifier speakers have built over the years show in this pair of speakers. Bass is not amazing but it’s fine, vocals are good and meds aren’t bad either. I gave it 5 starts because this pair of speakers exceeded my expectations for inexpensive speakers.

Great sound
This works very well. The sound is clear. It is a great value.

works great, but….
Easy set up.USB cord is very short. If you have the PC on your left, the right speaker has to be on your left for the cord to reach. The cord won’t reach across a desk.PC sound level had to be set at 75% to get speakers set at MAX to perform properly. My old speakers I had set at 50%.Good music quality from these speakers.

Great for USB powered speakers
Love these speakers. Great size and look to them. Sound great for being USB powered.

Noise and Squelching
So I want to love these speakers but I am having some fundamental issues with them. The first one is it squelches or gates audio until you “Wake it up”. I had a similar problem with Behringer mixer products. When you first play the audio you get a quick ramp up in sound. First you think it’s a fade you put on the track but it’s not. Second I get noise on the headphone out of the speaker. It stops after you pause audio, (I think it’s because that gate kicks in). listen these are very inexpensive speakers but these two issues are silly. I make a speaker from scratch without these two issues. Really frustrating as I want to love these things. Hope the fix these issues. Careful if you want to use these for anything more than casual listening. Spend more for the Bose versions. Going to re-hook those up.

After several other attempts, I finally found a small speaker with full sound at low volume
I tried a few other bluetooth and line-in type speakers for my mac mini desktop computer. Each time the sound was loud enough, and sometimes the sound was really good… but bluetooth models got out of sync with video, and were endlessly charging and likely destroying the batteries faster. Line in models always had a somewhat hollow sound or were too sensitive (for models with built in amp) and were mostly too large for my desk setup. These are slightly narrower, have a slightly smaller speaker cone, and are ported out the front so that I get ALL the sound facing me. At ‘home office’ levels, they sound great and are never out of sync through USB-A connectivity (which also provides power – so there’s no extra power cord to mess up my desk aesthetic! I’m very happy with the result! Cost was less, or about the same as everything else I tried previously.

Sounds terrible
I have 3 sets of Edifier speakers. They all sound great, so I expected the same with these, knowing they’re smaller and less powered. They sound like tin cans. I’m surprised Edifier put their name on the box. Avoid – or buy speakers for $15 because that’s about how these sound.

Wonderful
These look great and the sound is awesome. I also love that even though Bluetooth is an option on these I was able to simple use a usb for both power and sound

:)LGMartin
