The best mic arm
Literally the best mic arm money can buy. Very sturdy and is quit moves so smooth and the medal wiring covers are a sweet addition. Can move it up and down side to side can fully swivel your mic. It’s easy to use just set it up put your mic in there and boom.

Fancy, practical and worths it
TLDR;Totally worth it, you definitely get a very high-quality product and will make your setup look super clean and will save a lot of space on your desk when you are not using the mic.———It may not be a very necessary accessory but once you use it you can’t live without it. The very slim design makes it very practical and convenient and definitely saves a lot of space. I’m a developer and use it (with a HyperX quad cast S) while working for meetings and programming to free up space on my desk and find very convenient that whenever I need to speak and type at the same time the mic can be in front of me kind of floating and capturing my voice while I can type on my keyboard without cables or devices in the middle. Won’t say it makes me more productive but definitely makes my working experience better. I originally bought it just to save space and because I was told that an arm for my mic would help reducing the sound of my keystrokes during meetings, but it had many more benefits. The esthetics are another big factor, it definitely looks and is a high-quality product. People have noticed it during meetings not because they actually see the arm but because either the setup looks very clean or because they don’t see where the mic is.Extra points would be that it looks very fancy and pro when the camera shows how you move the arm.

Hell of an upgrade!
Previously I used this scissor arm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CN2C93T, and this one blows it out of the water in every way.Range of motion: The old one wasn’t straight like this one is, so the range of upward motion was limited before the arm would hit the monitor, now the mic avoids the monitor and can be placed exactly where it should be.Cable management: I had my cabled strapped down onto my old arm, and I never realized how messy it looked until I threaded the cables through this one, it looks so much tidier now!Getting the mic where it matters: I have a directional mic, it has to be close and right in front of my face. With my old arm I had to compromise to get it into place. I had it low (almost hitting the keyboard) and several inches from my face. Moving it out of the way was a bit of a hassle too so I just left it there. With this new arm, The mic can lean right towards me, completely out of the way of my keyboard, and moving it is as easy as just pushing it out of the way, no worries about it hitting a monitor or anything.Sturdiness/Support: The old arm had all the weight placed on a small metal bar that slotted into its clamp. Eventually this bar would bend under the pressure and it would cause the arm to sag. The scissor arm also tends to make noise and jiggle when my desk is disturbed. This new arm has a much sturdier way of slotting into its clamp. It’s much harder to disturb it, and jiggling my desk will cause my monitor to move moreso than this arm.All in all, they nailed it when it comes to a design that works around monitors. You don’t have to sacrifice typing space because a bulky arm is hanging over your keyboard. You don’t have to block a portion of your screen. You can move the arm smoothly out of the way when you don’t need it. The clamp is nice and wide so it should fit on most desks. Between the ball joint and angling the arm, you can accommodate a wide range of configurations. Super easy to set up, it looks great and even comes with adapters to fit your mic mount. Love this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Great Mic Arm for Desk Use in Low Position
For set up where you need a mic arm, and you want it to be low, such as coming in from the back of your desk, under your monitors and forward to where you sit, this kind of mic boom arm is great. I was formerly using an inexpensive arm, and had it clamped to the side of the desk and coming in from the side. I wanted to lower this kind of arm gear out of the view of the camera used for online video communications. Also I had just gotten a Shure SM7B, which is very popular with the live streaming community. It can be used on a desk stand or on a boom dropped from above, but it works quite well in a low boom format as well. The recent version of this arm, now has a very strong set of magnets in the covers over the cable channels, and has both upper and lower holes for mic cable and connectors to pass through. This is ideal because it allows for many potential configurations.I’d rate this as vastly better than the inexpensive spring loaded scissor style arms available under $50. There are probably better products in the professional market, but for non-pro use this is absolutely fine.

Solid and versatile arm with only one minor complaint
The Elgato Wave Mic Arm (Low Profile version) is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Elgato products, in that everything from the manufacturing, to assembly, to use, to original packaging is extremely well made and a great product. The two-piece arm mounts via a traditional clamp assembly, and the mic mount allows for different types, sizes, and weights of mics to be used which is great if you change from a condenser to a dynamic mic. I use a Blue Yeti which is no small or light microphone, and the Elgato holds it perfectly with no sag or issue. My only complaint, which admittedly may be unique to only a small handful of people, is that I wish the arm were longer, or came with a third pivot point. The low profile aspect of being able to mount this under my monitor was exactly what I needed, and being able to move it out of the way when not in use works exactly as intended, but having one more pivot point would allow for a much more dynamic layout, or to move between a broader area of my desk. This may not be a huge need or issue for most, and it truly works exactly as intended and it works well, but I do wish there was a little more to it.

I recently replaced my old mic arm with the Elgato Wave Mic Arm Low Profile, and I couldn’t be happier! This mic arm is not only more stylish but also incredibly functional. The low profile design keeps my workspace looking sleek and uncluttered. It’s easy to adjust and stays in place perfectly, making my zoom calls and online streaming a breeze. The build quality is top-notch, and it has added a professional touch to my setup. Five stars for sure!

The only complaint I have about this product is it’s price. I could buy similar quality arms for less.
