After trying several different mascara brands, including Maybelline, I finally found my holy grail mascara—Essence! I’ve been on the hunt for something that gives me intense volume and bold coverage without needing to layer on tons of product, and this mascara delivers just that.

Over the years I’ve tried most mascaras. My eyes are my best feature so mascara is important to me. I want to enhance what I have rather than looking ridiculous with heavy fake lashes.
This mascara is phenomenal. I do have long lashes but they generally do not hit my glasses since I wear them a little down on my nose (due to sensitivity from a fracture). Well, with this mascara, my lashes became jammed against me glasses. The added length is impressive.
I highly recommend this mascara. You can decide to look like a ridiculous caricature of some sort of animal (very often a cartoon donkey) with false lashes or you can choose this mascara to enhance what you’ve got.

I have short lashes and have always been underwhelmed by mascara. I have tried many expensive brands like Benefit, M.A.C, and Tarte. None of them can even hold a candle to this one! It makes my lashes long, thick, and separated. Really does give the false lash look, it looks like I have a classic set of lash extensions on when I wear this! I have sensitive eyes and wear contacts and have no issue with any irritation. It has easily become my favorite and I can’t believe it’s only $5. If you’re considering trying it I say go for it!

I wasn’t expecting much with how cheap this is but it’s good for the price! I am a mascara junkie, meaning I buy mascara just because I want it or it looks pretty. I have literally tried every mascara you can possibly think of and this one is probably in one of my top 10 for sure. I have only used it one time (16 hours of wear) and it didn’t cause ANY irritation whatsoever. Which is huge for me because of how long I wear my makeup. I can usually tell within the first 30 seconds of application if the mascara is going to be decent or not so take it from me when I say this stuff is great. I have naturally long lashes and this stuff made them look like I had fake lashes on for sure! I only left 4 stars because I thought this was waterproof. But that’s my own personal preference so I just put a coat of my favorite waterproof mascara over top of this and it lasted all day long! So if you’re hesitant on whether or not to buy it, just do it! I bought the black one first and now I’m going to try the brown one because I have issues. Also ladies, don’t forget to use that eyelash curler 😉

I am absolutely in love with Essence Lash Princess Mascara! My first experience was with the black shade, which was fantastic, but I decided to explore the brown shade as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the brown-black shade turned out to be. It offers a softer look compared to the striking black, which I still adore, but I find myself gravitating towards the brown-black more often because it complements my features so well. With my green eyes, I sometimes prefer a less intense color, and this shade is simply perfect! The formula of Essence Lash Princess Mascara is truly remarkable. It’s a tubing mascara that competes with high-end brands, yet it’s only $4.99! I’m amazed at how it separates my lashes while adding volume and length. Here’s a tip: apply it from the base of your lashes and wiggle outward, but be cautious not to layer it too heavily, as it can clump. If you find it’s getting a bit too thick, just wipe off the excess on a paper towel or use a lash comb. This mascara truly works wonders, and I can confidently say I will keep repurchasing it!

I’ve tried many different mascaras over the years and just feel like they are all basically the same. All promise to make your lashes longer, fuller, curlier. And in my opinion, that’s basically what all mascaras do. Its very hard to tell if one is any better than the other. But what I like about this one, is that it is affordable. I’ve purchased mascara from department stores that have cost way more and this one, and I feel this one works just as good as those high end brands. So, I wouldn’t say that this one is any better or worse than just going to the drug store and picking up a mascara there, but the price can’t be beat. I will also say that the wand is very nice. I like that it is tapered at the tip. That helps to get all the tiny lashes on the inside corner of your eye and the lower lash line and your lashes do appear to look longer. Again, nothing spectacular except for the price!
