I bought the 5″ for beard – lost its ‘Tip” sharpness after 3 months
UPDATE: Great Scissors and Customer Service: I am back to using them for my fine hairs. I don’t cut clumps of hair, this tool still does that quite well as I don’t use it that way. But I do trim a few hairs at a time, or the edges of short hairs in a line. I essential use the last 3/4″ of the tip, and now when I am doing two or three hairs at a time, they just didn’t seem to get all the hairs in the micro-end of tip clipping. So I am not unhappy to buy a $79 pair of scissors, and I did see that you could tighten them before I bought them, but I didn’t feel like buying the $160. They are used daily and kept in their little case. Final comment: Whatever on my picky stuff, the scissors are easy to use, fit my hands perfectly and do the job, and cut my head hair very very well.

Very sharp, clean cuts
I’m far from a barber, but cut my kids and my own hair. These scissors are SHARP, make clean cuts, and feel sturdy/professional for a reasonable price. Not sure how long they would hold up in an actual barber shop, but a few haircuts in and they still feel smooth and sharp. I would buy them again.

Good quality
Very sharp. Edges are not pointy so I feel comfortable cleaning the hair around my dogsâ eyes so they can see. One thing tho – I forgot to make sure they had large finger holes. My fingers arenât fat and they donât want to fit in those tiny holes. My bad. I still use them and other than that Iâm so very pleased. ð

Sharpest Shears I’ve Ever Owned
I purchased these shears in August 2022 and used them weekly to trim away my own hair whenever I had knots or just needed a regular trim. It is now June 2024, and they are only just now starting to become dull.These shears lasted me a LONG time (nearly 2 years). They are still really sharp too, it is only the very tips of the blades that have become dull. The rest of the blades are still as sharp as when I first got them.I used to use the cheap pairs of shears you’d find at some store, and those wouldn’t last me more than 2 or 3 months before they became so dull that using them would cause split ends.I highly recommend these shears but do be careful, as they are extremely sharp. Once, someone trimming my hair lightly rubbed their finger on the blade to get rid of some hair on it, and they got cut. These things ain’t no joke!

Be very Careful with this weapon
Yes, I say weapon as they are so sharp, which is a good thing but you must be so careful using them.I am a hairdresser of 25 years cutting hair and I have never run into a shear as this.I loved them but first I cut my finger badly cutting my hubbys hair, then when I shaped mine up I see blood dripping down my face on the side. Yes, I must have cut myself somehow and didn’t even feel it! I swear I am afraid to use them! Can you imagine that after having so many pairs over the years! But I think they are great even so and I think my problem is, I always had shorter shears and am not used to these. I believe they are good for long hair and a nice sharp blunt cut. For safety go with a shorter pair and have more control.I have to do many cuts for the family with this pandemic going on and have to be so so careful with these now and feel if I had gone to a shorter pair, I would not have these issues as mentioned. the fingers have a good control and fit well and the angle is great but consider length in these shears if you don’t want to be cut up.All in all, they are really great for the price as usually you need to go with $100 on up for a good quality pair.I picked these after HOURS of research and reading reviews. I would do so again but shorter shears.. I can say tough that I didn’t realize how dull my shears were until I ordered this product and can get a haircut done faster now with no problem!! Just with a few cut fingers! I would suggest them to anyone for the price.
