UPDATE: Customer service gets an A+
They read my review here and reached out to me about the issues I was experiencing. I shared screenshots and we discussed each issue in detail. They have all the information now and I hope they use it to improve the app (at the very least). I definitely felt heard by them and would encourage other customers to reach out to support with any questions or concerns.
BATTERY LIFE: The battery life is very impressive. I played with the watch a lot this past week as I was learning all the different features and functions and it held up well until suddenly it didn’t. I noticed the battery indicator was dropping fairly quickly through the day (day 8 of wearing the watch). I have several features turned on that do decrease battery life (health monitoring). I made sure the display brightness was turned down to help save battery. At critical battery levels, the watch notified me. I was able to go into settings on the watch and put it into power save mode. This turns off the Bluetooth connection to my phone; stops all message notifications, reminders to move and drink, and continuous health monitoring; and prevents the display from lighting up with a wrist turn. It does continue to count steps so that information is not lost. As soon as I got home, I put it on the charger. By going into power save mode, it had just enough power to make it through the rest of the day (even with me checking it every hour or so to be sure it was still on haha).
———- Original review below:
I was looking for an affordable smartwatch-style replacement for my older name-brand wearable. Having used this for not quite a week and going from liking it to hating it and back to “it’s good enough,” I feel comfortable sharing my first impressions.
The wristband had to go. I hate the feel of the rubbery “sport” wristbands and much prefer metal or fabric wristbands. The black band that came with the watch seemed to grab every piece of lint and dust that came in contact with it and hold on to it for dear life. Fortunately the band is replaceable with any style band that you prefer that will fit a 22mm watch. I switched to fabric and I’m much happier with the fit and feel.
Battery life seems good so far. I have played with it quite a bit just trying to get familiar with all the features and I’m pretty impressed with how well it is holding a charge. I do have the constant health monitor setting turned on which does affect battery life somewhat but I really like having those stats available. POSSIBLE APP BUG – You can see heart rate and blood pressure charted throughout the day, but the SpO2 stats don’t have a chart like that. It just says “no data available” and all it gives is the current number in the app.
I love the huge variety of watch faces available. If you can’t find one you like, you can make your own background from a photo. It will only show time and day/date if you make your own but your stats are just a couple of swipes away. POSSIBLE APP BUG – There are several dial faces that are loaded in the watch itself and the app appears to be able to update those so you can have multiple dials of your own choosing available on the watch, but I haven’t found a way to access any but the one face currently pushed from the app. That was disappointing since I like a darker watch face available at nighttime and I’m already tired of manually pushing it from the app to the watch every night before bed.
Speaking of night, there is a do not disturb setting available but no way to schedule it so you have to manually trigger it every night. It prevents notifications from the phone from coming through and also blocks the wrist turn from lighting up the dial, which is good. Unfortunately, the sleep tracking function is not good at all. I tend to wake up a few times a night but go right back to sleep. The watch is unable to recognize that this is a continuation of sleep so I consistently am shown the last sleep of the night as if it was all the sleep I got. That’s disappointing.
Now on to notifications. The Good: You can set the app on your phone to send notifications to the watch from any app you have installed. That includes notifications like, say, the Domino’s app that sends status notifications of your pizza delivery order. I also love the reminders to move and the reminders to drink water; I struggle with those personal health areas and the watch buzzing periodically to remind me is very helpful. The Bad: All the notifications coming from the phone have the same “message” icon so it can be very difficult to distinguish between, say, a text message, a Reddit notification, and a Teams message (I had to turn Reddit notifications off because they were so confusing! haha). The Ugly: If the notification has any length to it, you can only see the first little bit of it so you still have to grab your phone to figure out what is going on. Even worse, there is no way to reply to a text message from the watch. This realization was very disappointing to me and almost caused me to return the watch.
So why have I decided to keep it at this point in time in spite of the crushing realization of all the shortcomings of the app and watch? Well, it is good enough in everything it actually does for the price I paid for it. Yes, there are annoying quirks and some of the data points it does track are painfully inaccurate, but I also don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend on a branded wearable at this point in time.
If anything changes, good OR bad, I will update my review.

I ultimately wanted this just for notifications so I didn’t need to be attached to my phone all the time. It works great, is easy to use, and the battery life is pretty decent. I can go about a week between charges. I also accidentally changed it to do not disturb mode and thought it broke, so I reached out to their customer service who responded within 24 hours and helped me fixed my issue with great customer service.

This watch works well. I give it 5 stars. It holds battery power a long time, measured sleep and steps accurately. Heart rate and Blood pressure were accurate within a few points. The battery is outstanding and charges very quickly. However, be aware that if you put the watch into power saving mode, it will not preform those functions. I thought the watch was faulty and got ready to return it but the fix was simple. Do not use power savings! When the battery runs low, it recharges within 2 hours from my experience and lasts about a week! 5 stars!

I’m blown away by this smart watch! The fact that it tracks my blood pressure is a game-changer for me. I can also answer calls and texts directly from my wrist, which is so convenient. The step tracking feature is also really accurate and motivates me to move more throughout the day. But what really sets this watch apart is the vast library of exercises it offers. From yoga to strength training, there’s something for every fitness level. The watch is also really comfortable to wear and the battery life is impressive. Overall, I’m so impressed with this smart watch and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their fitness tracking game.

This is an AWESOME watch. I decided to introduce a daily step goal for myself but refuse to keep my phone on me at all times. This watch clocks every single step. Moreover, I like to keep my phone on silent and therefore it’s a hit or miss when people call me. With this watch, I never miss a phone call anymore. It also looks just like the Applewatch, no one can tell the difference. In fact, I love how great quality it is, how comfortable it feels and that I only have to charge it once a week. The setup was easy and it connected to my phone without a glitch. From never really having liked to wear watches, I now wear it day and night as it also monitors my sleep and tells me when I’ve been sedentary too long. And of course, it tells me the time with a flick of the wrist. Such a great deal!

This is my first ever smart watch and it’s exactly what I wanted! You can customize the face of the watch through the app and download different patterns to get exactly what you want. It tracks my steps, it’s comfortable, and the battery life is unreal, and to top the whole thing off, it’s cheap!!
