Warranty & Support
, Whether you’re shooting digitally or on film, Fotodiox offers the world’s largest selection of lens adapters. Mix camera/lens platforms or reinvigorate vintage glass; Fotodiox has hundreds of ways to mount lenses onto your DSLR or SLR camera. Our adapters deliver infinity focus, manual aperture control, and a sturdy build for lasting quality. Take advantage of our engineering with the 1.4x optic glass that is used to make up the focal flange distance difference between the lens and camera (distance between the lens flange and film/sensor plane). This corrective lens in our adapter allows an older lens to properly focus to infinity on the newer camera body*. Compatible Nikon F Cameras (including but not limited to): D7100, D7000, D5300, D5200, D5100, D5000, D3300, D3200, D3100, D3000, D800, D800E, D700, D610, D600, D300, D300S, D200, D100, D50, D60, D70, D80, D90, D40, D40x, N70s, D4, D4S, D3, D3S, D3X, D2, D2H, D2Hs, D2X, D2Xs, D1, D1H, D1X, DF Please Note: *In some cases, the built-in optic may degrade the image quality because you are adding an element never designed for that particular lens; as a result, this can cause soft focus, chromatic aberration, image artifacts, etc. Use the lenses “sweet spot” to minimize these issues (Sweet Spot: Aperture value on lens that provides the sharpest image). This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted. We state “infinity focus allowed” because our adapters are designed to be universal which can prevent some lenses from focusing to infinity at the infinity mark. Set your camera to “Manual’ or ‘Aperture Priority’ for metering. If camera does not release be sure to enable ‘shoot without lens’ in camera settings. All pictures are for illustration purposes only. Actual product may vary slightly due to ongoing improvements in design.
Compatible with Minolta MD lenses on Nikon F-mount cameras; Infinity focus allowed – 1.4x optic corrects focus
Enhanced craftsmanship and high-tolerance construction for demanding professionals
Precise fit and solid connection; lens has no play, gap or wiggling when mounted on adapter and no adjustments required
Precision all-metal construction with chrome plated brass mounts for secure and solid fit

Zeiss lenses for my Nikon’s… Woo Hoo!
Ok. here is the “Day After” .Received on 5/2 around 1 pm…mounted and shot until around 5 pm. Not only is this a solid piece of gear, but when you find just how much of the DIGITAL technology you can actually use on your Nikon D7100 or whatever you are using, you will be smiling from ear to ear. The first thing I hung on my D7100 was the Hasselblad 350mm F5.6 C lens which was the drive behind the initial purchase consideration. I wanted to “reach out” for ground base wild life, but good Nikon Glass even without AF and VR can still be several grand.Manual focus is a MUST. From that point on, the ability to use many of the D7100 in camera features such as Auto ISO, Aperture Priority, and the focus confirmation LED’s are all usable with this adapter. I did NOT find this in the sales information. Giving some thought to the sensor and how it was the key to all a digital does, it seemed this “might” be the case…so I ordered it. Operation: Mount and remove the lens from the adapter in both directions BEFORE doing the same with the adapter. AUTO ISO:. Set your Nikon to Manual MODE, Auto ISO on, select your shutter speed @ the camera BODY with the Command dial and then the Aperture @ the LENS. (More on this as you read). When you place the adapter on the camera (at least the D7100), the aperture on the top window will go to F2.8. It will not change and there is no NEED to change it. Here is what I believe is the reason. No Hasselblad C lens has an aperture greater than 2.8. This maybe part of the “keying factor ” from the manufacturer (?). Any ‘Blad lens is always going to be slower so not to worry. F5.6 is really not a bad location for this lens for my shooting so I stayed there partially because of this and also I still had not figured out the obvious, STOP DOWN lever on the lens. Aperture Priority. Set your ISO, Set your aperture @ the lens and the camera will make the shutter speed selections. When you stop down the aperture (@ the lens) depending on how you have set up will see the shutter speeds adapt to the stop down or the ISO increase . There are some other variations and I will update ….but oh so KOOL! II just added 5 Zeiss medium format lenses to my Digital kit and F5 for the cost of a 100mm ND filter. BTW, I still use them with the original bodies.BTW if you are concerned about VR don’t be. On most VR lenses the VR becomes a liability at higher shutter speeds and you can certainly use a tripod.REMEMBER it is NOW presenting an image to the cropped sensor. In this case now an image equal to 535mm . Also it is a Zeiss 535mm lens and the very best part of the lens where any optical issue has pretty much be solved. Not a bad trade off for about 80 bucks. If I see there are some who are looking at this review I will update it as I learn more.

Perfect integration for old Minolta optics
I have a decent set of Minolta-Rokkor/Celtic/Sears MD lenses dating from the late 70s/early 80s which sat in the closet for years. This adapter works perfectly to attach all of these lenses to my more modern Nikon DSLR. Should go without saying that this requires putting my DSLR in full M mode, manual focus, and setting shutter speed manually. No TTL metering is possible, at least with my D40.Focus point isn’t disrupted, although may turn a little soft. I can even use my old prime 300mm telephoto again!FWIW, this adapter also lets me use all the MD lenses as spotting scopes coupled with a Kenko Lens2Scope adapter for Nikon F Mount. I got the 45deg offset. This setup works great, and I’m leaving my 70-210mm MD zoom lens attached as a field monocular.

Lens Bonanza !
Since I have a number of older Mamiya 645 lenses from my past and present medium format film shooting, when i saw this adapter at a fairly low price it was a no-brainer to extend my 645 lens use to my Nikon D70 DSLR. Many of these older high quality lenses can be picked up used for a song since the general public’s switch to digital but I already had several. The unit is well made and so far has performed flawlessly. I like it for the great medium format optics it makes available plus the portrait speed it gives me for shooting on my D70. My 80mm lens becomes a perfect portrait lens on that camera, enabling me to use a low f2.8 f-stop at the perfect portrrait distance of 12 to 15 feet for nice head and shoulder shots with beautiful background bokeh at f2.8. Longer lenses like the 150mm are very compact and I take it on my daily walks for nature shooting when there is low light or fog, again utilizing the lens speed which is so costly in non-full frame DSLR lenses. I did not have this fast lens capability for my D70 until this adapter purchase. When I take my 645 out for the express purpose of medium format film shooting, bringing my D70 body along for anything else enables me to travel light and still have a lot of flexibility in my shooting gear. The only drawback I have found so far is the fact the fit on the camera is fairly tight and taks s little getting used to for quick changing of the unit. This is a great buy for anyone already posessing Mamiya 645 lenses that is shooting a Nikon DSLR and does not require autofocus. – Sparky

Works Very Well
I was given a lot of old school Minolta lenses however I have a Nikon DSLR 5600. This adaptor works well as it incorporated a lens to compensate for the added length the lens is from the mount. In addition the camera MUST be set to manual otherwise you will get the error message “no lens”.As well it is a very solid quality construction.

Fits M645 Lens to Nikon F Mount Well, But Does Not Latch
There aren’t a ton of M645 Lens to Nikon F body adapters out there, so I decided to try this one. TL;DR: it works, but no matter what mounting sequence you follow, or whether the M645 lens is set to manual or auto aperture, the lens will not lock to the mount. I tried this with each of the Mamiya lenses I own, and not a one would lock in place. The adapter fits snugly *and* securely to the F body, and the lens slide smoothly into place on the adapter, but it WILL NOT LOCK. This means you can shoot with the lens just fine, but you must be ultra-cautious about rotating any focusing, aperture, or zoom rings. Functional, but not ideal.

Easy to use, but the ffd (flange focal distance) is wrong for dslr nikon cameras. The wrong focal distance causes the lens to not focus properly.

This product does exactly what it is expected to do. It allows me to use my Minolta MD 50mm f3.5 Macro Lens with my Nikon D4 lens mount.Made in China. Nice packaging. The front and back caps are great for storage of this adapter.Ignore the reviews that complain their auto focus does not work with this adapter. That is not what it is expected to do. It literally allows you to use a Minolta lens on a Nikon camera body. The non-CPU lens data function on your Nikon will be useless with this product as you are not mounting a Nikkor manual lens to your Nikon but a metal adapter. The turning of the aperture ring therefore is not recognized by the camera as a result. This is not a big deal.I have tested it with and without the extension tube I have for that macro lens and so far it works great.

Wow. Superb product. I have nikon d7500 with sigma 18-200 mm lens and it perfectly fits. I attached a sample picture of my kidney stone. That’s 0.7cm in size. Thank you!!!

Cette bague est bien faite, en métal et on a aucune difficulté pour insérer l’optique du Pentax 645Z sur la monture Nikon.Au démontage c’est pareil, simple, un clic et elle sort.Parfait!
