Lovely Design: the lovely shape can attract birds. Metal shell can better and faster heat conduction.
Thermostatic Design: The heater uses a thermostat that stops working when the temperature reaches 122℉, and starts working again when the temperature falls below 95℉. Even in cold weather, the bird cage heater will stay at 95℉-122℉, providing a warm and comfortable environment for parrots to snuggle.

Worked great for just over a month, long enough for a replacement/return to happen.
We purchased this on October 23rd and installed it in November. It already stopped working just after a month (last week). I requested a refund or replacement. The response was it was too late to return it. Today is Monday, December 9th.

Perfect!
It took a few days for my cockatiel to warm up to it (no pun intended) but now he hangs out next to it all the time. It doesn’t make any noise, I was concerned that it would click as others said, but it’s 100% silent.

It heats a little.
It looks great, but it heats up slightly. You can only feel the warmth if you touch it with your hand. We use it at night when the cage is covered with cloth. I hope our budgies stay warm during the night.

Crumb approved! BUY IT! It’s better!
Keeps cage warm when covered at night! It’s warmer than name brand bird heater as I’ve bought the other grey name brand one. I love that this one is solid covered metal over the wire in the back so my birds can’t chew it and it even has a green light on the back to indicate it is plugged in and on. My other heater wire was getting chewed on and that’s what led me to this one and honestly THANK GOD! This is amazing and so much warmer and better quality! I will be buying another for my other cage in the future!

Easy set up
Easy to install and gentle warmth. I stuck a mirror on it and my parakeet is happy.

Worked well for two nights.
I had this heater on only at night to give our conure something to snuggle up against while she sleeps. For the first two nights it worked great. It still heats okay but now it makes a constant clicking sound and she won’t go near it.I liked this one because you can put a perch through the bottom and keep their little feet warm, too. The clicking ruins it, though. She won’t use it anymore.

Bird heater
This is one of the many heaters that I have for my birds and there’s a few reasons why I like this one better than the other ones. I actually have three heated perches, one heated bed, one heated platform, one hanging caged heater and then this one that radiates the Heat is one of my newest ones and I really do like the style. Now this one basically is almost like a little tiny heater that you would almost put in The Birdcage. This one basically just heats up and radiates heat and they can stand next to it to get warmed up when it starts to get cold out and the reason why I like this one versus the Caged one with the heating bulb in it for one there’s less mechanical stuff going on with it and there’s actually issues that I had with a caged one not being wired correctly that I had to take apart and completely rewire but this is a pretty much all in one unit that actually has a LED indicator light that tells me when it’s Heating and when it’s not and the output of this thing is all thermostatically controlled so basically it goes by the surrounding area and heats up accordingly. This one also has a nice bendy wire that kind of keeps the blanket that I like to put over the top of the cage away from the cage so I kind of like that so I don’t have to worry about any issues there. And also it’s a metal constructed heater so technically there’s nothing really to catch fire if some sort of malfunction were to happen there’s nothing that can really go wrong firewise unless the metal started heating up or possible if the metal became live and there are some sort of shocking issue but I don’t really see that happening with something like this and not only that I believe the heater is only either three or five Watts so there’s not very that much electricity going to it. Overall I super highly recommend this especially if you live on the country like I do where it does seem to drop in temperatures quite a bit in my house especially when I’m not at home and the heat is not running. 100% recommend
