Encourage Slower Eating: Careful feeding of hay can help reduce waste and make supplies stretch farther. It keeps the horses from gulping down the hay too quickly and promotes better digestive health.
Nice and Roomy: Easy to fill and holds a heavy load of hay for extended stable activity.
Durability: Constructed from a high-quality nylon rope for longest wear & to better handle the vigor of young horses.
Contrasting Colored Tie String: A bright white, easily noticed top closure rope makes this hay bag easier to spot, which is a bonus for eased loading and unloading.
Attachment Made Simple: Easy to hook up to and have a great rope to tie them up with. Perfect for holding hay at shows. Colors available: Black, Red, Blue, Bright Green, and Grass Green.

New Favorite Hay Bag
This has held up well for my horses so far. I have about 10 bags right now, and haven’t had any issues. I can easily fit 5 flakes in each bag. There’s definitely room for more if I wanted to, but who wants to fight with hay bags? I also love that the draw string is a different color than the rest of the bag. So much easier to know which string to grab.

Sturdy, Economic, and Practical – For Horses
I use for mini goats. Mesh grid could be smaller for my animals. Too much hay is pulled through so NOT slow feed. Obviously made for horses or larger livestock. Wonderful if there was an option for 3″ x 3″ grid squares. Strong materials. No UV protection. Within weeks, the sun faded the netting color. Makes me wonder if the netting will start to break down now? When I’m not using, I store them inside the barn.Side note: Netting rope that closes the mouth is a generous length. This is a nice amount to be able to loop over a support and tie to suspend the bag.

Slow feeder hay net
I look for a sturdy hay net for my horses and this fills the bill. Unlike other brands this one has a rope tie not a thin stand that breaks after less than a week. Netting it knotted and a thicker nylon than your cheaper nets and will last about a year before I have to patch worn out holes.

works great
We have a horse with a choking issue. We started using these slow feeders, and they work great. She doesn’t get too much hay at a bite, so she doesn’t choke when using the slow feeders. They are easy to fill and easy to hang up.

Less waste, less boredom
My horses went from a boarding situation where they had 24/7 round bales to our house where we’re only set up for square bales. I don’t have to tell you if you’re looking at these that hay is expensive. The little holes in this allow plenty of hay out, but they don’t spread it all over the pasture and it lasts many hours longer. Each net will hold about 2/3 of a 3.5′ bale, far in excess of the 3 flakes advertised. I only had one issue with them not using it, and that was when the hay was full of little sticks. They couldn’t get around them to the actual hay, so I had to put it on the ground and stress to the fiancee to make sure of the hay before buying. For reference, I have a 26yo standardbred and a 26 year old mini.

Works for our goats
Holds about a quarter bale of hay for our goats. It’s light weight and the roping is very durable to hang it with – note: be aware this type of feeder can be dangerous for goats as they can get their horns stuck in the netting

Holds alot of hay but it is a pain to load.
