Really Impressive controller
I have tried just about every popular controller at this point (dual sense edge, scuf envision, Xbox elite series 2, turtle beach stealth ultra, razer wolverine V3 pro, Flydigi Vader 4 Pro, and many more) and this one is probably the best I have used.The phantom does 3 things incredibly well: the hair triggers, the Hall effect sticks that can be calibrated, and the placement of the back buttons.The sticks are incredibly accurate to the point it even picks up the minute movements that none of my other controllers do (admittedly, this can be a bad thing at times in FPS games that donât have aim assist lol, but turning the sensitivity down slightly makes it just like the others if you canât get used to it).The hair triggers are the best Iâve used. They are micro click and they are absolutely instant. I can say it definitely made a difference in FPS games, especially when using a semi automatic option.The back buttons are the main reason I gave this controller a try because after being a long time elite series 2 user, I fell in love with the feel of the dual sense edge, but really missed having 4 back buttons with 1 finger per trigger. These are placed in a very ergonomic way such that it feels just as comfortable as my elite series 2, though I wish they were slightly harder to press as they are a little on the sensitive side.I have narrowed my extensive controller search to the Vader 4 pro and this. Each has its pros and cons, but I think the phantom beats the Vader 4 pro in just about every way. The elephant in the room is the price. Do I think the phantom is 3x better than the Vader 4 pro? Definitely not. I think this controller should be priced at no more than $199.00 and it would be a fair value for money. Itâs just really hard to justify the cost of 3 Vader 4 Pro controllers for just 1 of theseâ¦TL;DR: itâs an amazing controller with every feature you could want, but the price is a little steep compared to controllers like the Vader 4 Pro which includes a very similar feature set for 1/3 of the price.

Stick drift is a thing of the past. Has Hall Effect sticks, and includes a device to correct stick drift IF it ever happens. (It doesn’t. Hall effects are legit). 4 Remapable buttons, tucked cleanly on the back of the controller, with adjustable triggers. Capable of clicky haptic feedback or smooth, empty feedback (whichever you prefer). Great pro controller.

Honestly had high hopes. Not what was expected. $250 for a âproâ controller yet the rear paddles wouldnât engage. Multiple set ups with a rare click it would actually decide to work mid game. Left stuck when sprinting wouldnât sprint (glitchy at best). Long sticks are just too long. No medium length sticks. Keeping the scuf until something better comes along.

Buttery smooth and precise
I hadn’t ever tried hall effect sensors but this is really game changing for me. I noticed a huge difference in how smooth they feel immediately in general control and it wasnt until I tried to do some sniping that required precise movement that I realized what I had been missing out on. I was able to easily move the crosshair around and eliminate the enemies without feeling trapped in a deadzone.

Comparing this to the DualSense Edge. Some pros of this controller are the joysticks for sure, hall effect and very smooth. Personally bothered by the clicking of the joysticks on the Edge. The phantom also has a very nice feel in the hand. Mouse click trigger option is really cool.But some elements are making this a return for me.1) Out of the box, the right trigger was making an abnormal sound and feel when not on mouse click mode. Not great QC on a very expensive controller.2) The back buttons for me personally are in the worst spot they can be. If you play Pointer and Middle finger on the Bumper and Trigger, respectively, this probably isn’t the controller for you. The back buttons are great for only using pointer finger on both bumper and Trigger.3) Stock trigger pulls, the Edge feels much better.4) Doesn’t come with a carrying case like the Edge.5) The price, being $50 more, this is a tough sell. It’s marginally worse than the Edge in my opinion.I think for pros, it may be good, but for everyone else seeking a pro controller, this probably isn’t for you. I really wanted to like this but just fell short for me.

Triangle screws
I don’t like the analog sticks length. long and short nothing in-between and can take controller apart to swap the analog stick out because they decided to use a tringle screw that’s smaller then what there typically made so it been nightmare trying to find one. I would go with scuff because you can actually do something with the analog sticks., and the option buttons hard to push.
