Perfect size and shape for tiny puppy. Yay!
I have an 8 wk miniature shitzu-poodle. He only weighs 2 lbs 6 oz. Skin, bones and gobs of fur. I was looking for a food that would not be too big for his little mouth. The breeder had him on a brand that WAS puppy food but I guess for larger size puppies because the pellets were round and almost too big for his tiny mouth. The larger pellet of food in MY photo is Science diet ADULT(I have a larger dog) – same disc shape. . I was trying to photograph the shape. What I like is these are very small and NOT round. These pieces are easier to break with puppy jaws because they are like discs with flat tops and bottoms. And of course Hills makes GREAT dog food. Definitely worth every penny.

The only food my picky dachshund will eat
Weâve been through at least 5 different dry foods for my dachshund puppy. He turned his nose up at all of them and getting him to eat his dog food was nearly impossible. This was an instant hit though. He ate an entire bowl immediately and has consistently eaten it for a few weeks now.I only docked one star because the ingredients arenât very impressive. Better than other dog food, but definitely not the best. Itâs also a little pricey for the amount, but as long as my dog keeps eating it Iâll be happy overall.

Eager Eater Choice Dog Food
I have a Cairn Terrier puppy who absolutely LOVES this kibble!He is an eager eater boy with lots of energy and a brave heart, living disposition.He also has an older Cairn terrier brother AND sister, who like to steal from his bowl when no one is looking. They also enjoy Science Diet small bites for adults.Lately I’ve taken to turning the pups out for a morning constitutional, during that time I fill their breakfast bowls and have them ready to eat when they come charging indoors again. Otherwise, it is difficult to serve the last one before the first one has already consumed it all! When ONE goes after it eagerly, it seems to inspire the others to chow down as well.The puppy kibble is very small, has no discernable odor to me, but seems irresistible to my pup The Dude. The puppy kibble is a tad smaller than the small breed kibble, but both are small enough to serve as a treat when learning new commands or tricks.Actually, the breeder recommended Science Diet to me…..all 3 Cairns came from the same family of dogs.And they all wanted the puppy’s food, so I bought the adult dogs Science Diet as well. It is a happy choice for my babies. No one turns up a nose at the Science Diet when the bowl hits the floor! Highly recommend

Finally a good, nutritious dog food my fussy teacup Yorkie will eat. I went through five other brands before coming to this.The pieces are tiny, and she seems to have trouble getting it between her teeth but sheâs able to eat it by chewing some and swallowing the rest whole. Theyâre so small it doesnât matter
