Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my teenage daughter. She enjoyed getting the seed pods ready and planting the seeds. The kit came with all the supplies necessary to grow the succulents.

Missing half the items, including seeds!
This was a very disappointing Christmas gift for my child. It was missing the SEEDS(!!), the kelp nutrition pack, and the perlite. Basically useless…

Needs better instructions
I love this little kit. The pots are perfect and they come with drain holes and trays which is super important when planting anything (why are any pots made without drain holes anyway ð¤·ð»ââï¸). The only problem is the instructions are seriously lacking. I had to search online for instructions because the ones that they give miss important details. The kit also includes fertilizer (but there are no instructions as to how to use it) and extra packet seeds with no explanation as to what you may need the seeds for. An important thing to note is that the amount of soil is WAY more than you need. Of course, I never mind having extra soil, but I wish I knew this prior to mixing all of it with water. I suggest starting with 1/4 of the soil thatâs provided and storing the rest until you may need it in the future. Again, this is a great kit, I have to deduct a star, though, for the lack of instructions.

The product that your get and what is shown are definitely different. The planters are pretty much more expensive Dixie cups. Definitely not worth its value.

Great kit
Honestly wasnât expecting much from this kit, but Iâm pleasantly surprised. Instructions were a bit confusing but I followed my best judgement and within a few days, some of the cactus seeds already germinated! A little more than 2 weeks and 3 of the 4 seeds I put in the pot in the picture are off to a great start. I recommend covering the pots with plastic Wrap to keep the humid environment to help promote germination. Excited to see how these continue to grow!

I love the set up of this kit. Everything you need is included. It also includes clear instructions with images as necessary. It’s a great kit for beginners, children, and people who just want a lightweight way to get into succulents and cacti.My 11 year old read through the instructions and knew what to do next. It also made him really happy to check on them every morning til they started to show.

Itâs been almost 3weeks and the seeds have started to grow, although very small – a nice little starter kit. A good gift for beginners. You can see little starts in each pot, I canât wait to see them when they grow up.
