A littl expensive but it works
I bought this to duplicate the existing setup that I have in my home, with my new setup in my vacation home. It does what it was intended to do. Two things to share about it.1) with the various ports on 3-4 sides, the cuber gets combersome to move since all the wires are dangling around.2) Works with both PC and Mac. I use this hub for my HP laptop as well as with my Mac mini (either or, not both together- I simply unplug the USB-C connector cable from one computer and connect it to the other.). It connects my computer with external monitor, printer, keyboard, mouse and flash drive (if needed). The USB-C cable that connect to the computer also charges the battery in my HP when connected. In the past when I connected the hub to my Mac Air laptop, it also charged it.This HP hub is one of those things that after you purchase it you say to yourself – ‘wish I would have gotten this earlier’.

Great product.
Super convenient and easy to set up. A must have for Thunderbolt ports. Very happy with my purchase. The seller shipped it out immediately. I would have recieved it the next day but UPS had a late plane and I got it in two days. Everything is plugged in, all I do is push the power button and comes online. Five Stars.

Great when used with the HP ZBook 16 G11
Work issued me an HP ZBook 16 G11. They left it up to me to get a docking station if I wanted to use multiple monitors and such. I liked up the HP site and this is there recommendation. It works well with my current setup using 2 external 1920×1200 external displays. I’m hoping it will also work with dual 4K displays but I really don’t wan to buy them on my own for a work computer. So this is good enough for now.

Powerful Dock for WFH
I needed it for a new work-from-home setup. My company’s IT lab only had HP USB-C Dock G5s or previous models that didn’t work well with my work laptop (HP ZBook Fury 15.6 inch G8 Mobile). Currently running 2x KOORUI GN05 27 Inch QHD Gaming Monitors @ 240HZ each (overkill and unnecessary, but why not if it’s on my company’s dime?) and utilizing all of the USBs. The only draw-back is after awhile of continual use (~10+ hrs) the DisplayPort signals periodically drop? Hence why 1 star is missing. I’m not sure if it’s the docking station, monitor(s), 8k display port cords, or the laptop. However, I also noticed this happening with the other HP docks I was given (running dual monitors at less than 240Hz). My company reimbursed my expense and it’s a minor issue, so something to consider when you’re purchasing this.Reading through the almost none existent reviews and/or negative reviews on multiple listings of this product here on Amazon, I was worried it would be defective or didn’t come with the right power supply. Perhaps that’s simply a supply chain/logistics issue? Hopefully adding some reassurance for you… mine came well packaged, works well enough, and has the appropriate monster of a power supply brick. Seriously, this thing is bigger than the dock itself and probably the largest I’ve seen! I guess that’s to be expected with 280W power. I can confirm that it did come with a JizPro hub – which is USB-C to VGA/HDMI/DVI – not the Dockztorm adapter. I didn’t have a need for the adapter and I still got this $100 cheaper than getting directly from HP. Save yourself $100+ by opting for this and leaning on the Amazon Prime return policy (if necessary). If I figure out the issue with the DisplayPort signal issues, run into anymore, etc… I’ll update this review.

The Hero My Wife’s Laptop (and I) Deserved!
âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸So, here’s the story: I was ready to invest in my wifeâs post-grad success, which naturally meant buying some new monitors for her five-year-old laptop. Easy enough, right? WRONG. It turns out that her laptop and the monitors didnât exactly hit it off. Letâs just say they werenât going to be BFFs anytime soon. No worries, I thought, *I’ll just upgrade her laptop.* Problem solved? Not quite. Suddenly, there werenât enough video ports for her shiny new monitors. Enter my wallet, now cringing at the escalating costs of this âupgrade.âBut then, a lightbulb momentâmy own work setup! We use the HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4, and it handles two monitors like a pro. So, naturally, I snagged one of these bad boys for home. *BAM!* In no time, I had my wifeâs setup up and running. Monitors? Happy. Laptop? Ecstatic. Wife? Delighted. Me? Well, letâs just say Iâm a happy husband with one less tech headache to solve. The HP Thunderbolt Dock is my new favorite problem-solver, and it gets five stars from both of us! Now, I can sit back and let my wife study in peace while I relish the fact that I won this round against the tech gods.

Not compatible with HP Victus or any gaming laptop
After months of trying to get this to work with three external monitors, and hours of being on hold with HP Support, I finally found someone who knows what they are talking about. They said this should not be used with gaming laptops. They told me to buy the $80 hub instead.

Only works with thunderbolt devices
Works fine with both my HP laptops, but does not work at all with my USB-C HP desktop machine. Not even to connect mouse and keyboard which are simple USB 1.0 devices.
