Easy to attach and doesn’t spill!
I was afraid when purchasing this that alfalfa was going to go everywhere or it wasn’t going to fit secure. It was very easy to attach just as described and the hay doesn’t spill anywhere. Great product, definitely recommend.

Works well, my rabbit likes this. Can tilt and drop hay out the bottom edge though.
This is made well, thick sturdy plastic. I heated up the tabs and bent them a little for my particular hand built rabbit house. The only flaw to this one is the hook length, or lack of bottom tabs. It allows the bottom edge to push away from the cage wall about 1/4″ and drop some hay while the rabbit is tugging and bashing at it. Not a big deal, just grab it and throw it back in the top once in a while.Over all the hay waste is way lower so that’s a solid win.

Unique design, but doesn’t work well
Most hay feeders seem to not really hold hay. This product does a decent job with containing the hay. It has one flaw though, there isn’t a bottom hook to secure it in a third spot, so it comes apart fairly easy.

This has worked perfectly for our rabbits who love to have access to various wild edibles. My daughters enjoy foraging for their little babies, and it’s so easy for them to plop whatever they find into this feeder, which mounts on the outside of the run. The material has held up for three seasons and stays put. 5 stars!

Pretty good
Easy to install. This keeps hay from going everywhere in cage. It does spill some from the bottom, hence the 4 stars. It’s good, but it could be better. It holds enough hay for 1 day for 1 guinea pig. It would be nice to have one with larger capacity.

Maybe it’s my cage, but this did not work for me
I think the main issue with this is it was too narrow. Not a decent volume of hay could be placed in there. Also when my piggy went to eat the hay it would tend to ouch it back slightly allowing for hay to slide out the bottom and cause a mess on the floor underneath. This might work better on vertical slat cages or on the grid version cages- but it was useless for us.

Great but messy
This was a super simple feeder to add to the cage and provided for easy refiling for my bunny. The only problem I ran across was having some of the hay fall on the outside of the cage which made this carrot dangling situation for the bunny. She always wanted to get to that hay that fell on the floor and couldn’t which felt kind of mean. Otherwise, this thing has been a dream, easy to take out and clean and a very good price.
