Well made; lights well
This COB LED strip was received in excellent condition.COB LEDs have set a standard in LED strip lighting. They’re much higher density than traditional discrete LED strips making their light much more uniform and much brighter. This particular strip meets those criteria well. I’ve attached a photo of the unwound strip in a roughly 200 sq ft bedroom where they’re providing the only lighting. No other lighting would be required to navigate the room or to make out any object across the room.The strip is well made. The barrel connector is solidly mated to the rest of the strip. At the opposite end is a pair of wires that would easily facilitate adding another strip on the end. Overall I see no weaknesses in the construction of this strip.A small number of connectors accompanied the strip. It also has double stick tape on its backside. For the sake of your walls I would recommend using the double stick tape if at all possible.Overall I find this to be an excellent product. I’ve got about 20 of these kinds of LED strips and this one will be installed where I need brighter lighting.

This LED tape is great for stringing around my 42U server rack so I can see inside and work on systems and wire runs.The pre-installed leads make it easy to power this string of LEDs, and the bright white light is best for work environments that need high contrast.Recommended.

La striscia led arriva avvolta nella classica bobina da 5mt, possiede solo il connettore femmina, trasformatore ricevente rf e radiocomando vanno acquistati separatamente.La striscia utilizza Cob Led è totalmente dimmerabile, la versione testata è quella a luce bianca.È molto sottile oltre che flessibile, può essere tagliata seguendo gli indici di taglio stampigliati lungo la striscia.Ha polarità quindi vanno rispettati polo + e polo – altrimenti non si alimenta.Ho potuto testarla utilizzando alcuni componenti che possedevo ossia: un trasformatore 12v con relativa ricevente RF e radiocomando sempre RF e non infrarossi.Possiede una parte adesiva efficente previa pulitura della superficie, prima dell’applicazione, con alcool isopropilico o a 90 gradi.Tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione, per rendere al meglio e fare un lavoro pulito ho utilizzato dei profili a doc in alluminio con relativa parabola in plastica opaca specifica per led, questo perché oltre a dissipare quel poco di calore generato dalla striscia, riusciamo a mantenere sempre pulita ed efficente la striscia Cob Led oltre a ottenere una qualità luminosa diffusa e armoniosa.Montata su di una cucina per dare efficenza luminosa sia sul top che parte alta dei pensili, con un risultato finale ottimo anche se da completare ancora.Di facile applicazione, permette di essere tagliata a misura e collegata a piacimento su molte superfici, la qualità luminosa è notevole e regolabile a piacimento.Ha soddisfatto le aspettative quindi la consiglio assolutamente, anche il prezzo rapportato alla qualità è ottimo !!

Here’s what you need to know!* It’s a natural-to-cool white colour – not warm white. It’s really pleasant because the COB style LEDs give a uniform light along the length without requiring an extra diffuser layer.* The barrel jack which is attached at the end is a 5.5/2.1 mm, centre positive. That’s probably the most common DC power connector you’ll find in the most common configuration. The other end of the strip has stout red and black wires already attached.* Every 25mm there’s a point at which you can cut the strip, passing through the copper pads. If you cut through these, you can then solder on wires (carefully) and reattach, which is great for snaking the lighting around. Alternatively you can connect multiple lengths of the strip in parallel, which is what I’ve done in the past. (If you DO do this and make a mistake, it’s on you. Make sure you know what you’re doing first.) When you cut through the strip, if you feel a crunch then it’s a sacrificial LED. Don’t worry about it, there’s 319 more every metre, and they will continue to work unless you’ve REALLY botched it.The price is good for 5m of UK stock – I’ve only had cheaper by importing from China, and that doesn’t come with Amazon Prime!
