Nice Budget Low Profile Mic Arm with Subpar Microphone
Given that this is only slightly more expensive than purchasing the InnoGear mic arm by itself, I didn’t have high hopes for the microphone. I was, however, hopefully it would be decent enough to be a secondary backup mic given the advancement in affordable mics over the past few years, but that isn’t the case. The microphone is okay for gaming, but I wouldn’t use it for a podcast. I recently purchased a budget Maono dynamic mic and it’s light years better than this budget condenser mic. Now, onto the microphone arm – it’s great for the price! It’s solid and gets the job done just like it’s $40 to $70 counterparts.

Great Beginner Microphone
Great for the price. The volume sensitivity isn’t as sensitive as it needs to be, but I don’t expect much from a USB mouse. There are touch options to mute the mic and change the lighting. It’s cute, and the sound quality is pretty okay. The noise suppression that comes built in is pretty horrible and makes you sound muffled. Other than that, it’s a great beginner mic.

….his New Mic stand. You said the quality of this one is far better than the 1 he is currently using. It is easily Movable and keeps its position well once positioned to the Desired shape and spot. Not Studio Quality
So, this mic and boom arm mic may be ok if this is your max budget for the two items. They will work, however DO NOT expect studio quality. The mic is mostly plastic. The boom arm is mostly plastic. The feel of each is cheap. The description claims “Studio-Quality Sound Capture”. In my opinion this is not a true statement. The audio is not comparable to any microphone that you may expect to find in a studio. They should have left out the RGBs and spent that money on audio quality.I do appreciate the onboard volume knob on the bottom of the mic. It also has a headphone jack for direct monitoring which is a nice feature for the price point. The noise cancellation is not bad, but it could be better.

Small setup adjustments, good quality overall
This is a pretty good microphone. It’s fun to have this colored mic on my desk and it works great for meetings and general recording.When plugged into a Windows 11 machine, the mic was detected as both input and output, so it was just a matter of adjusting that in the sound settings.It’s definitely more sensitive at the front of the mic, though it will still pickup a voice talking behind the mic. I’m not sure the sound cancellation is very good-ambient sounds will still be picked up. If you’re trying to use this for podcasting, you’ll still need a very quiet environment.
