Cats like it, bad battery life
This would be a 5 star product if the battery lasted longer. I tend not to use this product as I have to charge it often.

Not the greatest for cats of 2+ years, age-wise. Would imagine to excellent for kittens.
I give this way three out of five stars because although it is a great products, it’s really designed mostly for kittens, at least that’s the way I feel. My roommate and I have a cat that is two years old, and his cat down the toilet to be interesting, and played with it for all of the whole two seconds. In the beginning he shot away from it, then we got to like it a little bit, and I mean just a little bit; then he lost interest in it.I do feel that if this is for a kitten however, this way I would definitely so, if buying fur your kitten, then it may be of 5. Mmmm star quality. In fact, this toy would probably set a light standard and the quality of toys for cats moving forward . Therefore, you would have to buy high-quality toys the other the cat gets; however, if you’re a cat lover, like We are, hey Siri, it shouldBe perfectly fine. However, it does seem to be misleading that it says it is also for cats.Please keep in mind that each cat has all personality and something that appeals one thing that appears to work at banana peel so another.And this one just did not appeal to our cat.

Great distraction for kittens
My kittens follow the toy around and watch it for hours. My adult cats ignore it. It is a little noisy on hardwood floors and as it bumps into walls. The ball moves all over my house, and corners do not stop it. It just turns right around and goes in a different direction. I do not know how sturdy it is going downstairs.

Not solid at all
I purchased this thinking that my toy dog would be occupied without me having to throw something all of the time. I should have returned this toy but I didn’t. Great concept but horrible product. The ball moves as shown. However, I was hoping it was bigger so that my small dog could not put it in his mouth. Here in lies the problem with this product. Dogs can easy bite the button that shuts it off. And that’s exactly what my dog kept doing. Furthermore, he likes to gnaw on things so he does the same thing with this ball and it came apart easily. I was constantly snapping it back on just to repeat that process over and over again. Rather than finding a toy that could occupy his time, I spent more time either snapping it back on or turning back on. It defeated the purpose in which I wanted to use it. Lastly, it can easily be broken by my dog. The product advertises for dog and cats however, it’s move for cats. It will not last with a dog.

Not smooth
The toy is very loud and rickety. I was very excited to get an automatic interactive toy for my cat while I’m away at work but the ball doesn’t roll smoothly, as advertised and seen in other videos. My cat hardly interacts with it. It’s very loud, I would not want to hear it rolling in the middle of the night. High expectations, pretty let down it didn’t meet my excitement for receiving it.P.S.Perhaps the white ball would be better…

My cat absolutely loves this toy. It’s easy to charge and the charge last for a long time, it even rolled down the steps and did not break just kept on going. That is the reason I’m giving this toy a five star. I think your cat will enjoy it and keep them busy.

Cats seem entertained by it. They aren’t playing with it per say, but they do just sit and stare at it with interest for a half hour or so with the lights dimmed. Nothing the fault of the toy itself, every cat I’m sure is just going to react a different way. I’ll take what I can get as it’s hard to please cats so it was well worth it to me.

The toy moves around on its own, but it’s so big that it’s really not a playable toy. It’s size and weight are so large that the cats really just watch it roll around on its own. They don’t get any exercise at all. Wouldn’t have bought it if I had my time back.
