Great hearing protection earbuds
Great earbuds for a loud workplace. I use a grinder and a welder everyday. Great hearing protection. My only gripe is that the ear tips isotunes provides hurt my ears. I still order the ear tips from comply.

ISOtunes is an established brand name leader in the hearing protection business. These earbuds are great and work really well. Besides when I just need hearing protection, I end up just wearing these sitting out in my barn smoking a cigar and watching TV when I have something loud running like a torpedo heater in the winter. They are comfortable and pair to anything I have tried and reconnect every time. They hold a charge for a really long time, I generally only have to re-charge them about once a month or so. The only gripe and this is will all hearing protection ear phones, not just these is that they have a volume level limiter and sometimes I would like the volume just a little bit louder. I am getting older in my mid 50’s so had I used more hearing protection in my younger years I probably wouldn’t have that problem now. This product is highly recommended.

It is what it is
These do the job while working out. I don’t think they are close to the ones that I buy on Amazon though. And those are cheap ones that I have found to be excellent. I was hoping for the best with these.For some reason they break up during a good workout when I sweat like, well never mind. But it’s a rough work out.They do however, last a long time on a single charge. I can toss them in my gym bag, and they will last a few days without needing charged again.

Protect your ears while listening to music!
I do a lot of home remodeling and woodworking, which often involves using loud power tools for extended periods of time. I ordered these because I like to be able to listen to music while I’m working but also want to protect my hearing. Previously I’ve used over-the-ear hearing protection in combination with ear bugs, which works well, but is bulkier due to the over-the-ear muffs.These headphones do a good job of reducing the loud noise of the tools. Because I’m using these when there’s a fair amount of background noise, I can’t really say how hi-fidelity these headphones are, but I look at these as functional ear buds and am not too picky about the sound quality. Note, however, that because these are designed to protect your hearing, they also do not get very loud. Even cranked up at full volume, the sound level is moderate at best. While you don’t need to have them cranked up as much because outside noises are significantly attenuated, if you really like to rock out, these probably aren’t the earbuds for you.Beyond the price being a bit steep for what amounts to ear buds with special foam inserts, my primary nits to pick with these headphones are that it’s a little hard to find the volume control buttons on the cord–they just aren’t really tactile. With work gloves on, it’s impossible to locate them by touch. I wish they were more prominent/bigger. My other complaint is that getting the earbuds on is a bit fussy–you have to compress the ear bud tips so that they fit into your ear canal, then you have to hurry to get them into your ear, while messing around with the loops that are supposed to go over/behind your ear; these loops are just a fuss and don’t really seem to keep the ear buds very secure.Bottom line, if you need hearing protection and want to listen to music, this may be a good option. I’ve not tested other options (other than the roll your own with regular ear buds and over-the-ear hearing protection), but these seem to work well in cutting loud noise and, once on, are fairly comfortable.

I ordered these for a couple specific reasons. One, so that I have some good hearing protection when doing anything particularly loud where I’d also like to hear music or a podcast. And two because of the advertised 85dB speaker output limit. I struggle with tinnitus and wanted a reference point to make sure I wasn’t listening to my headphones or earbuds too loudly. I don’t know how accurate these are about that but I have to assume they’re at least in the ballpark. When I tried them out I wasn’t able to reach maximum volume through them comfortably, which was interesting. That either means that I don’t ever listen to my headphones and earbuds at 85dB, or that these are outputting more than that. Either way I think it’s a good data point to have.These are very light and comfortable to wear, though with the medium foam tips I did feel like there was a lot of pressure in my ear canals. They definitely function well as ear plugs; it was very quiet after putting them in. Pairing to my phone was easy.In terms of sound quality I think they’re completely sufficient. The tuning is very good for me but some others will want more bass. Very good for metal, in my opinion. Clarity, resolution and sound stage are below average. But that’s fine; I’m not intending on wearing these when I have some time to listen to music, these are for working, protecting my hearing and also letting me listen to something as a bonus. I don’t need audiophile quality sound and wouldn’t expect it.For durability everything seems good except for the wires which seem thin. And since they’re not replaceable it would not be fun to damage one. Since they don’t need to reach all the way to my phone they should normally be out of harms way, at least.All in all I like them and am happy to have them.

This was easy to pair with my phone, provides good ambient noise reduction, sounds fine and battery easily lasts through a work day.
