Bulb spacing is 3.94″ and has clear wire. I put them outside in some smaller bushes and just one string gave the area a good look with a nice glow. Not overdone. Love the 10 foot lead before the lights start. Makes things easier to arrange.We’ve had snow, rain, high winds, and they held up. Didn’t budge and I hadn’t wrapped them tightly. I took them down before it became cold, cold. They looked fine. As a trial, I plugged them in and left them in a tied bundle to see if they got warm. Not a bit. The 6 hour timer worked okay, except one time I had to kick start it. I wish there was an 8 hour choice instead of only 6 hours on/18 off.These have plenty of different light modes, but I keep mine on all the time. Bulbs never dimmed. I liked them so much that I bought two more strings in this size and two in a smaller size for next year. I’ve been shifting from incandescent to LED. Bonus! I actually got them to fit in the box they came in. First time!Remember to wrap the cord and little box in something to protect it from rain.

Truly plug-n-play. All lights work, all lights bright, all connections work as well as selecting blink mode. I purchased a weatherproof container to protect the connection between extension cord and lights since its power supply is not intended to be exposed to moisture. After initial purchase I bought more sets and all of them are working well too. I Ike the way these lay and naturally hook and disperse across branches making for a nice distributed light visual.

These lights are really great. I love the size, warm color and spacing of the lights and the in-line timer is fantastic. It is odd that the transformer is not weather-proof but we put a ziplock bag around it and since these lights are on our large porch we can keep it out of direct rain – but note that issue if you use outside

These lights are beautiful. They are tiny but bright. To the person who said you’d need 5 or 6 strands for a 7 ft tree ð¤¦ââï¸ This is one strand on a 7 ft tree! If you need more than that, well you do you!I love that the wire is clear so the lights are almost invisible on the tree.The timer is such a bonus! No more crawling behind the tree. One button and it’s on daily for 6 hours, off for 18. Love it. Great purchase
