I really like using a balm product, and this one is a winner. Aside from it’s effectiveness – which is the most important quality – I particularly like it because it can be used on eyelids, whereas the balms I’ve used before require a separate product to remove eye makeup. It has a bit of a fragrance which is fine with me. Lathers up with the addition of water, and easily washes off, leaving my skin clean, refreshed and soft.

This product smells divine — like bright, fresh lemons. The price per ounce is well below other popular brands, and this product works phenomenally. My makeup is largely cream-based and waterproof. This balm melts my makeup quickly and efficiently, leaving my skin clean and clear. It’s also not drying or oily — I would truly recommend this for all skin types. I myself have EXTREMELY dry skin, and this product does not leave me any dryer than I usually am. It also doesn’t leave any moisture on my skin — which makes me feel like it would work very well for more oily skin types, too.10/10

effectiveness, scent, and feel
I absolutely love this makeup remover! It’s gentle on the skin and doesn’t feel greasy at all, which is a big plus for me. The light citrusy scent is refreshing, and it doesn’t overpower. What really impresses me is how easily it removes all makeup, including waterproof formulas. I don’t have to scrub or go over my face multiple times—it takes everything off in just one swipe. Definitely a staple in my routine now!

I have now bought this cleansing balm twice! I have sensitive skin and this balm is very easy on the skin. This only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I do have to wash my face twice which isn’t the best but it really gets the makeup off, and its also a good price and lasts for a long time. Would recommend, and will repurchase again for sure.

Removes makeup and softens skin
Removes makeup in one rotation and leaves skin soft and clean. I additionally clean with a secondary face wash to complete my cleaning routine. I have used several brands of oils vs balms and this balm doesnt bother my eyes or clog my pores. It smells nice and my sensitive skin loves it.

Love this cleansing balm!
This is the only cleansing balm I use! It removes makeup super easy without any rubbing And leaves my skin clean but not dried out. I have combination skin that tends to be on the dryer side during certain seasons.

Removed makeup & leaves skin fresh
Second time purchasing this. I was using a more expensive balm that worked really well at removing sunscreen & makeup but left my face feeling over-moisturized/oily. This balm removes makeup and didn’t dry out my face or leave it feeling oily. No irritation & I have crazy reactive skin, I can use this to remove eye makeup without any stinging. I like the light citrus scent. This is more than half of what I was paying for the other balm and there is lots more in this jar too. Win win!

Takes off all makeup, leaves skin clean and soft. I use a facial cleanser after using this. You only need a small amount (about pea size) for a good effect. Has improved my skin tone. Don’t use wet hands to apply but will wash off face and hands quickly and easily. This is now part of my beauty routine everyday.

It is a very nice gesture, in this age of non-human interface purchasingThe cleansing balm itself is beautiful: it has a really calming citrusy/vanilla smell that just feels refreshing and comforting at the end of the day. And it glides on easily on the face. The spatula was very useful in getting just the right amount of product.I have been using Elemis cleansing balm for quite awhile. This is a refreshing switch up that works well cleaning the face

Reaction: Made my skin breakout in sudden acne and strange dry discolored patches as well.As soon as I switched back to my previous cleansing balm my skin felt better.Aroma: The smell is citrusy orange, not bad.Texture: Not the best texture i excpected a more rich creamy balm . It’s much of a lighter vaseline consistency.
