Waste of Money – ZEROâï¸
These blue orchids are pretty but I wonât buy them again. They are not worth the money, especially with the vase. In order to be displayed correctly, they should be put in to a smaller vase. The one included in my purchase has too wide of an opening. The flowers never bloomed and the buds just fell off. Super disappointing. Ended up throwing them away after 3 days because the buds were everywhere.

beautiful!
likes:-beautiful & vibrant!-arrived in a box but there are pods sealed of water/blue dye at the end of each stem plus theyre all wrapped in wet towels to keep it hydrated even if you arent home for several hoursPro/Con Combos:-came with a vase! but was pretty small (too small) for the bouquet-has dye/hydration pods so theres no rush to be home for arrival! but removing the pods involves you getting ink on your hands (which came off my hands easily in the sink, i cant speak for what would happen to clothing though *shrugs*. you could just wear gloves and be fine)Overall, I’m quite happy with them and would recommend. I also gifted these to my mother one year and she said they stayed alive/bloomed for a loooong time (over a month at least).

The “blue” orchids were red and had fewer stems and blooms than claimed; cheap vase.
[ SEE UPDATES BELOW ]Two days before Valentine’s Day I ordered the supposedly “Fresh Blue Sapphire Orchids with a vase” — a Prime item to be delivered on the second business day. When they finally arrived, after I received an e-mail from Amazon warning the delivery may arrive late, the flowers were absolutely DISAPPOINTING. Unlike what Kabloom’s claimed at that time in this webpage, these were not blue Dendrobium orchids, but red ones (see attached figure), they were not ten but only nine stems, and not all of them were fresh as several flowers were in their way to be withered.Besides that, the image currently shown for these flowers in the webpage has little to do with what I received, which is shown in the figure below. A significant proportion of the buds were not in bloom –see the received flowers just out of the box, as seen from the front (left image), side (center image), and back (right image)–, and these were placed as if hiding in the rear. The bunch arrived quite flattened (see center image) with buds from different stems tangled together and hard to separate; in fact, the bunch of blue orchids currently shown in the Amazon page has at least ELEVEN stems, so it looks fluffier than the flatter bunch they send with TEN stems. The vase is a cheap glass bottle with narrow base and flared mouth that resembles old milk glass bottles (see right image), and provides precarious support for the flowers (I added some stones to the base for taking the photos fearing the bottle would tumble). It was discarded and the flowers placed in a better and wider vase. What a MISLEADING advertising… Buyer beware.UPDATE February 18In response to the original review, the company has offered to send gratis next week a bouquet of true blue Dendrobium orchids satisfying the Kabloom’s freshness guarantee. I’ll refresh the update (inescapable pun) when they arrive.UPDATE February 22The company sent another bouquet of flowers. This time the orchids have the right color, number of stems, and a good number of buds in bloom. The vase, although still of a low quality, at least has a color that goes better with the flowers. I have therefore increased the rating from one star to three stars. I consider this fair since it is still in the Amazon’s range of not being a positive review, while also acknowledging the relatively rapid response of KaBloom to make amends, something needed in online sales. The company should change the vase images to one conforming to the reality of the cheap vase they send.FINAL UPDATEThe company has indeed changed all vase images to the vase they actually send, and should be praised for listening to its customer comments.

Warning, you may get blue fingers!
I sent these as a gift and they were truly lovely. It is impressive how fast they ship from far away. But unfortunately they are a product of dyeing process. Although it was amusing that my motherâs hands turned blue from arranging them, sheâs lucky she didnât ruin something. She did think they were beautiful.
