Great feeder. Lasted for about 2 years before my guineas broke through the fence. Getting a new one but I found another feeder that looks promising just doesn’t have pellet feeder just a hay feeder since my guineas like to pull out their hay and play with it and make a mess lol. The one I’m trying to get too has a nice mech to get all leftovers for hay out before changing again. The size is great and capacity is great too last my guinea pigs 2 days and I have four guinea pigs. The feeder for pellets is a bit deep but its easy to use for its size and looks I thought it was going to be cheap but it did last 2 years before it broke and my guineas ripped the cage apart. Cheap metal fence but last a while.

Great feeder for rabbits
First of all, it’s from Kaytee, the finest seller of small animal products on the planet. As you would expect, heavy material, feeder for hay and grain. Hay retainer removed for easy cleaning. Very happy with this product.

Item needs modification
I love the sturdy structure of this feeder. But the hay rack on top is to small to be useful for my rabbits. So I pulled off the metal hay bracket and cut out the small plastic retaining wall that was under it. Next I cut a thin piece of wood, to fit exactly inside the metal rack (fitting snugly into the slots on both sides of the upper part of the feeder) but leaving a 1/2″ gap at the bottom. I stapled the wire bracket to the board and mounted this into the feeder, snapping the metal latch over the top of the feeder, but leaving a 1/2″ gap at the bottom. In effect, turning the wire rack into a solid wall with a gap at the bottom to let the pelleted feed slowly fall down into the “bowl” of the feeder. Finally, I mounted this modified feeder, inside the rabbit hutch, where I can reach it easily. Now I can put a quart of rabbit pellets into this feeder and they slowly fall into the bottom “tray” as the rabbits eat it. Plus, the rabbits cannot sit and poop in it and also no rain can get into it to spoil the feed.

Works pretty good
Hay and grain get stuck down in the hay feeder part. It works pretty good but pur guinea pigs like to hand then metal piece pit. It’s easy to clean and looks good.

Llegó antes de lo previsto y muy bien empaquetado, tanto que casi no podía abrirlo xDEstá bastante bien, llegó en buen estado, parece muy resistente y es una buena compra para aquellos conejitos que se la pasan tirando la comida (tiene dos seguros en la parte de atrás para asegurarla en la reja de la jaula).La parte en donde se pone la comida pensé que era un poco profunda, pero mi conejita sí podía comer sin problemas de allí. Obviamente en la parte del heno habrá un punto donde las partes más chiquitas se queden dentro, pero es un buen producto para mantener más organizado su lugarcito a nuestras mascotitas ^^Me gustó mucho

Prodotto ottimo dal punto di vista dei materiali (non riescono a rosicchiato) fantastico per evitare sprechi di fieno ben saldo dove si applica,unica pecca un po’ troppo piccolo se si ha più di un coniglio dato che contiene poco fieno va spesso riempito con piccole quantità,ma ne vale la pena.Consegna puntuale

I have been having an all out war with my Guinea Pigs! The amount of wasted Hay that occurs due to them pooing in their food was a crazy amount. I tried to remind them of the people starving in the world, that didn’t work. I tried to make my own separate tub, purely for the hay and stick it to the side of the cage… They just chewed through my eventually industrial gaffa tape… And just when I thought I was beaten I saw this online…Oh yes, they didn’t like that they had to work a little for their food… and sure, they tried their hardest on day one to bite this off the cage… but they failed… And now… I’m the victor! So 5 stars all the way!

Not happy with this product at all. They are just too small for my guinea pigs! I suspect they are designed for hamsters instead.
