Nice and comfy! Good value for the money, shipped in time! Has almost a slight smell of mint which I thought was cool! But maybe that’s just me. Holds up to my driving around, I like how it has a dust cover then all you do is slide pillow to one side and roll up dust cover! Thought that they would’ve been a little bigger! But I’m not gonna complain! And pillow is better than no pillow!! And sometimes I don’t use one, so there’s that!

Great for sleeping comfortably outdoors
Prefer a real pillow vs. an inflatable pillow for comfort when sleeping. This is great – just big enough without adding too much bulk and weight to my pack. Liked it so much I bought another for a family member. Is of course heavier and bulkier than an inflatable pillow.

The best car camping pillow
This pillow is without a doubt the best car camping and travelling pillow. The comfort is like a pillow at home. It wouldn’t be practical for hiking unless it’s a short over night trip. The reversible design is spot on. I liked it so much that I have 2 of the large and 2 of the regular so that I have options for camping and travelling. Nothing sucks worse than having a bad night sleep while camping. This pillow is a big part of having a good sleep system while camping.

Bought for a travel/camping pillow and this far exceeds my expectations. I purchased 10+ “travel/camping” pillows to test before going on a large trip and to use for camping.Tested each pillow 3+ nights and this one won by a long shot. I ordered 2 different sizes of this pillow which ultimately meant 2 different thickness. I would call this a medium loft pillow. Has small “foam” sections/pieces inside that can be fluffed or moved around to create the right feel on the pillow.

The ultimate pillow hack
I ordered the regular size and at first I was a little disappointed in the size. Mostly the height of the pillow. It wasn’t tall enough to support my head the way I like. I’ve been through a few inflatable pillows and never found them particularly comfortable. I could get the height dialed in, but they never felt soft enough fully inflated.I had a eureka moment. Friends, I have cracked the pillow code and in so doing solved a camping problem that has plagued me for decades. I went through the linen closet and found a narrow pillow case, one that could accommodate both the klymit and a slightly larger inflatable. Placing the inflatable underneath allowed me to dial in the perfect height. The klymit is so soft and comfortable on top, it feels great. If I fully inflate, I can actually sit up comfortably enough to read and when I’m ready to sleep, I simply let some air escape. It’s perfect. The pillow case is snug enough to keep them together through the night and I never wake up to readjust anything. Everything packs down nice in my dry bag. This hack moved the pillow from 3 to 5 stars. I’ll be using this combo the rest of my canoe camping career.

Larger is better than the smaller version
This larger pillow is highly recommend over their smaller version to save your neck and head from improper sleeping alignment.

As a big fan of “wild glamping”, or comfort paired with minimalism, this pillow provides an unrivalled level of comfort for the price. Moving from the pricier, but highly esteemed Kilo Gear’s pillow to this has been night and day. It is intuitive and is ideal for wild camping. Just be aware that the small size is more than enough for camping; it is still a large pillow and has not been explicitly designed for hiking/camping. Place the bag in the bottom of your bergan/hiking bag and it will compress better than some inflatable pillows. The built-in waterproof cover is genius and helps keep your pillow clean and dry during transit. Strongly recommend.
