New for the old
My previous cooling pad recently died after many years of use. My laptop tends to run hot. After replacing both fans it has settled down and, with the new cooling pad, I am not experiencing any further heating problems. It was a great value for the money and works well.

Not bad for the pricepoint
I bought this for my old 2015 15″ Macbook Pro, which tends to get a little hot when I have a bunch of tabs open while working. I used to have a beast of a laptop cooler – all aluminum construction and strong fans – but it was heavy and cumbersome to use, so I ditched it a couple of years ago. This gets the job done at a much lower price, but my laptop is a little too large for it. Still, it works, so I’ll be keeping it and will possibly add some sticky pads to the bottom of my laptop in the future to help it stick to the cooler a bit better. All in all, it does the job and I’m content with the purchase.

Lifts too high
If you have a super light, slim laptop, this one is perfect for the lifted base, but if you have a larger laptop, it’s kind of scary ð it sits at the bottom and there’s a tiny lip that holds the laptop. I have it sitting flat and it works great
