A Look Back At This Product [11 Months of Use]
Prologue:I’ve owned this device for quite some time now. I bought my Macbook Pro 2019 13′(upgraded from a 2009 HP laptop) earlier in 2020 and one of my biggest upsets was seeing 2 USB C ports.. now looking through a selection of items, this one had caught my eye. A year ago this products was somewhere around $60-$80 with a hefty deal added to it(currently it is around $40 with a small coupon. Is it worth it?Product details:Falwedi has designed this USB C Hub to accommodate our sad, yet sleek Macbooks. It is a 10-in-1 featuring 3 USB 3.0 slots, 1 VGA slot, 1 HDMI slot, a slot for standard SD cards & a TF/Micro-SD card reader, a Female USB C Charging Port(to charge your Macbooks*), Audio/input slot, and finally an Ethernet port. It connects with a little wire which measures at around 4.5 inches(not counting the USB C input).The Juicy Bits:What more should I tell you? It’s a 10-in-1 USB Dongle!! It’s of great value compared to other ones I’ve seen, and the color is complementary to the aluminum frame of the Macbook Pro. I can tell you from 11 months of usage that this hub is very much reliable. It takes somewhat the same amount of desk space as my Logitech mouse and because of this, I always pair these together when bringing my laptop along somewhere. Each respective slot functions well, although I haven’t had a reason to use everything(ethernet port, VGA, USB C charging port). There is no moment where a slot had died or refused to operate, which I’m very satisfied about. HDMI port works very well, no signs of connectivity issues. I’ve transferred around 150GB of data in between SD cards and my hard drive to back things up and I have seen zero data transfer issues.The Issues:I have none really except for a minor few. I am not saying it’s the hub’s fault, however I would often time get stutters using my wireless mouse. There are a couple reasons this could be happening: perhaps the surface of my desk isn’t the best thing to use, maybe it’s an internal flaw in my mouse trying to connect to the USB input, OR perhaps it’s the slot in the hub. It’s undecided whether it’s the hub’s fault, but I’m thinking it isn’t. This happens no matter which USB slot I choose so maybe it is just my mouse.”But does it overheat?”I am aware of other reviewers experiencing overheating problems, but honestly I haven’t. It gets moderately hot at its worst. Not enough to burn my hand, but then again I don’t have this thing jammed entirely; I only ever use 2-3 of the slots, 4-5 if I’m busy with stuff. But no I have not experienced any overheating.The Final Analysis:This hub remains a proprietary component of my Macbook and I see no signs of it dying anytime soon. I have no prior history with Falwedi or any of their products, but this hub is a very good product and it’s convincing me to take a look at their other products if I need so. Overall I give this hub a 5/5, and I’m not saying this lightly. It has been very reliable in data transfers, device inputs, and connecting to my monitor. This product is amazing. Allows for 3 monitors to be connected.
I had been searching for a docking station that would match my new HP laptop. I need it for my home office to be able to connect more monitors. While shopping around, the ones I was seeing cost $250.00 and above. I was very reluctant to try this docking station but I absolutely love this product and Iâm so glad I tried it. This product is excellent, itâs lightweight and very accessible. I love that I can set up 3 monitors, which comes in handy for me to share different screens during zooms, plus I can hook up several USB connections and it even has a VGA connection! Very accommodating. I Highly recommend this docking station and I will be purchasing another one for my husband to hook up his monitors. Before buying this one, I bought a docking station at Best Buy and it was double the price. That product was somewhat difficult to set up and only allowed 2 monitors to be connected plus it was bigger and bulkier and took up more space on my desk. The one from Amazon is slimmer, smaller, donât take up hardly any desk space and it is easy to install! It works perfectly! I even suggested it to a co worker, who also said he loves it! I love it I love it! I love it!

Came in good packaging. I got this for my ASUS gaming laptop, it works great. However it does give me a notification that the usb needs to be a bit stronger so if youâre looking for a docking port, go with one that isnât usb C connected.The docking port runs smoothly regardless, ad I only need it for extra wires and outlets.

If you’ve searched for USB-C hubs lately, you’ll notice that there are a lot of options to choose from. When I saw that a new company was looking for feedback on their entry to the market, I thought I would take a chance on it. To be clear, I did purchase this product with the understanding that if a review was posted I would be refunded by the company. That being said, I was not told what to write in the review, and honestly, I was looking to purchase a device like this anyway.With that disclaimer out of the way, a bit about the device. I found this to be an interesting product based on my needs for ports (specifically I wanted more than 2 USB-A’s, at least one USB-C port, HDMI and VGA). I don’t use a lot of wired ethernet connections, but I saw this inclusion as a bonus (as this is not present on many other hubs). I would encourage you to think beforehand about what types of ports/slots you will need for your day-to-day.Design: Build quality overall is better than I anticipated. It’s roughly the size yet slightly thinner than the size of a deck of playing cards. It feels sturdy– some kind of aluminum alloy, mostly in one solid piece. Doesn’t take up much space in my bag. I think the thinness is admirable given the inclusion of the ethernet port.Connections/Experience: I tried this both at home, connecting to my 4K TV and at work with an old VGA monitor. Both situations worked fine. The seller rates it as 4K @ 30hz, which is fine for my uses, but worth noting if you’re thinking of doing any gaming or serious creative work (which I don’t do). The usb ports provided power like I would expect and the USB-C port provided passthrough power to my laptop.In short, if you’re interested in this device, I wouldn’t have any concerns.

Adquirà este producto hace unos dÃas y por el precio y las prestaciones que ofrecÃa no lo pensé dos veces.Empezó muy bien y los puertos funcionaban en su mayorÃa, Pero conforme mas tiempo lo utilizaba más fallos coemnzban a aparecer.Todos los puertos comenzaron funcionando correctamente, los que me mostraban detalles eran los puertos usb 2.0, que al conectar un unifying receiver tanto de mi mouse como de mi teclado, se conectaban y desconectaban copntinuamente o no registraban correctamente lo que hacÃa, volviendose cada vez más seguido y más frustrante, al conectar mi teclado por cable ya funcionó de manera correcta pero no es la idea de lo que buscaba.El otro problema era el usb c dp que comenzó a cargar por una hora y dejó de funcionar, intenté varios cargadores y ninguno mostraba que fuera util.En cuanto a los demás puertos que lo utilice, creo qque funcionaron bien, creo que uno de los hdmi muestra una imagen un poco distinta si lo conecto directo a mi laptop en cuanto a saturacion de colores se refiere. El etehrnet funcionaba perfecto y los puertos usb 3.0 igual reconocÃan correctamente mis discos duros.Los materiales parecen ser de buena calidad. Se calienta bastante pero tengo entendido que es nromal en esta clase de dispositivos.Estos fallos fueron suficientes para mi para tener que regresar el producto

Took several weeks to arrive (Covid has delayed many deliveries so understand), but after waiting for it to arrive it doesnât work as advertised. All the peripherals I currently connect to my laptop do not work when connected to the dock. Speakers via audio jack, network via Cat6, web cam and external drive via USB and external monitor via HDMI. I have tried other docks via my USB C port and they work w all of the above devices except the HDMI. I tried each device individually w no luck as well thinking I might to not use the HDMI but nothing works.
