A very good facial oil
I got this facial oil out of curiosity, and it turned out to be a very good one. I tried it on immediately after I received it even though the temperature was in high 80s. I used 2 drops, and it really got absorbed by my skin quickly. It was not greasy, and I was amazed that my face and the t-zone was NOT oily shiny the whole morning. So I have been using it on my face and my neck now.

Doesn’t Blend Well With Cream Make-Up
My mature, dry skin is always on the lookout for facial oils that won’t clog pores, is moisturizing and can be used with morning make-up routines. This formula doesn’t fulfill all the criteria—I find the oil doesn’t absorb readily and leaves a greasier feel than I’d like. My morning routine usually consists of washing my face, applying a serum, then an oil moisturizer like this one, and then putting on cream-based make-up. Usually the oil moisturizer blends in nicely with the cream make-up. This one doesn’t; it has more of a diluting effect and affects the make-up’s color and consistency. This may work better as a night use oil, but I’m disappointed that it doesn’t work well with my morning routine.

This is a thin, light fragrance-fee oil; I prefer using it on my body & in other products…
I have extremely dry skin that tends to get dehydrated and rough very easily. I like using facial oils, but I do have sensitive skin and not all of them work well for me. I was interested in this one because of the squalane included in the formulation, which I find very helpful in dealing with rough, reddened skin. This is a very light-weight oil with a thin viscosity and is a pale gold in color. It doesn’t have a scent as far as I can tell. It works great on my hands, nails and is absorbed almost instantly. On my face, I only use a couple of drops of this oil, but it just seems to sit on top of my skin for quite a while. This happens to me often with products that have a high percentage of jojoba oil in the formula. I apply a warm, most towel after thirty minutes or so to help it sink in and remove the excess. For this reason, I don’t use it on my face as often as I expected to. It does leave my skin feeling soft but would be an occasional night-time oil for me and I would top it off with a moisturizing cream. However, I liked the idea in the product description of adding a few drops of this oil to a toner or hydrosol and I’ve been using it that way and it does indeed seem to help boost the hydrating and soothing properties of these products. I also like using it on my arms and legs, and I find it very helpful in dealing with my dry skin. I appreciate that the full list of ingredients is shown in the description. I do find the current price of $65.70 for one ounce to be a little too expensive. The oil is in a dark colored glass bottle with a dropper. It arrived boxed but not fully sealed — the top of the box was closed with a clear plastic adhesive disc, but it can be lifted and replaced + the bottom of the box can easily be opened. The bottle itself did not have a seal.

Wife loves it! Best part is the moisture it adds to her facial skin
Bought this for my wife and she loves it! She uses it twice a day on her face and says the best part is the moisture it adds to her skin. Her skin is smoother and softer but she really loves the moisture it adds. Happy wife happy life!!!!
Hi. :) –
It’s ok.
I use squalane oil twice per day, every day, so I’m kind of familiar with it. I like the way it feels on my skin and I also use it in my hair. I normally get what’s considered name brand, good quality, 100% pure squalane oil that’s less than 1/6th the price of this bottle. For about $65 per ounce, I was expecting magic (or something close to it).To try this oil, I washed my face, then applied 5 drops to my face and another 2 on my neck (I like heavier moisturizers and I don’t mind for them to linger for a while if I’m at home). The oil felt much different than what I’ve been using up to this point. I guess it’s possible that what I’ve been using is such inferior quality to this oil, but I’ve also used other formulations of squalane (for example with retinol) and they felt the same way. This oil felt lighter, but didn’t make my face feel nicer. After I applied it, I left it on for several hours, but my skin just felt kind of meh. After several hours, I washed my face and applied a moisturizer and a different oil, and then my skin was back to feeling good. With this price tag, I’m inclined to believe that this is really good quality squalane oil, but it just didn’t do it for me. I will try it out on my hair and see if it works better that way.:(

No
I need to stop trying these facial products with questionable ingredients. It’s viscous and has an odd makeup. Regardless, I didn’t entirely use it because the ingredients are not ones that I’d sign off for as a facial product.

My favourite facial oil
Got this around Christmas and love how hydrated and soft it makes my skin feel, without being oily. Just ordered another bottle, highly recommend!
