This is an awesome pet nail grinder!
I have four small dogs R right now. This was the fastest, easiest nail trimming job I have ever done.It is quiet as advertised, and the dogs seemed a lot calmer. It was so nice not to have to take our dogs to the vet and sedate them before they would trim their nails!Awesome product and I will highly recommend it to others.

Gentle and perfect for scared dogs
I have a very bulky strong American pit/staffy and typically I couldnât touch her nails let alone by myself. I was able to bribe her with treats and able to use this. She hates any loud sounds. She attaches the sweeper still and sheâs almost 5. She has never or will never get used to the sounds. They scare her. She was a little shaky and still scared but did not try to fight as much or attack this which is a good sign! I deff highly recommend this!!!!!!

Good buy
This seems to be a good product. It is pretty quiet, itâs easy to hold, can be used in various positions (hand below/above the paw). It does seem that this would be better for small dogs; I had to use it several times in a row to trim my 65 lb dog.

Works great for dark toenails.
I liked how easy it was to use. It’s quiet and my dog let me clip her dark nails little by little. I recommend this product completely.

It’s decent quality, not the best, not the worst
The product did not come with a carry bag. The product itself is easy to use. It is quiet, it’s very loud. When it touches that nail, though, basically it’s a rechargeable dremel

Add $25 MORE if you want a head that might actually work for a small dog
I recently purchased this product and it is very quiet. Unfortunately it will not grind my small (15 lb) dog’s nails. When using it, I see dust, but it appears that it is the grinder’s head disintegrating (not his nails) that is generating dust. No matter how long you hold it to the nail, basically nothing happens.I bought this because it was small and quiet, and $40 seemed reasonable. But I did not expect to have to pay another $25 to get a head that will actually grind a small dog’s nails. They sell the replacement heads in packs of 3: one of which is the same as the “regular” one that comes with the unit, one which is softer, and one which is supposed to be harder. So IF the hard one works, you need to spend $25 everytime you need one replacement head. This is not a good way to do business. The merchant indicates that this product is for small to large dogs and – at 15 lbs – my boy is certainly in the “small” range. But it simply DOES NOT WORK unless you choose to spend another $25 – to get 3 heads – of which only ONE would possibly work. And I am not even certain that the harder head would work.I contacted the merchant and asked to have a hard head supplied and – if it works – be able to buy just those as a replacement in future.Their answer was to tell me to buy the three pack and that they did not guarantee that the unit would work with any specific dog.In their email, they said the following:”We do not have a specific device designed for certain sizes of breeds, but we do have different grid (sic) grinder heads, which help a lot for each breed of dog nails. You can use our device on large or small dogs, but we highly advise using extra hard grinder heads for larger breed dogs. Also, extra soft grinder heads can be useful for smaller breed dogs.We offer three types of grinder heads. Regular, soft and hard. You can try them all and find the most suitable for your dog. We sell them in different packs. The grinding unit itself comes with a regular grinder head.Regular grinder head grit 80.Soft grinder head grit 200.Hard grinder head grit 40.”I recommend buying something that is stronger unless perhaps you have a pocket dog. Can’t imagine how small a dog would need to be for this grinder would work or what a 200 grit head would possibly be used for.

a nail grinder that did it’s job well
I had tried multiple nail grinders on my Shih Tzu and it had been a pain to get the job done. This one is quiet as described and the first one where my puppy gave least trouble. A great relief and kudos for such a great product that works as described.

Comparison between various nail grinders
I am going to attempt to offer a comparison of the various dog nail grinders since we have purchased several over the years.First of all, The video makes it sound louder than it is in real life. This thing is SO QUIET and has NO vibration and is incredibly lightweight!I was extremely skeptical because we have been through so many nail grinders for our dogs including an actual Dremel, a Pedipaw, and the Oster brand. Up until now, the Oster was our favorite but the protective cover makes it extremely hard to get your dogs nails into the openings. There are 3 openings on the cover but none of them are the right size AND the cover is so far away from the grinding wheel that you really have to separate and shove the dogs toes down into the holes. If you take the cover off, it can grab hair around the spinning head and yank it out, which is also the danger with the Dremel. They are also bulky and hard to hold. You also have to hold the tool facing one direction otherwise the nail jumps and catches on the spinning wheel making it painful to the dogs. So, it is fine when you’re doing one side of their feet but it’s so hard to try to hold the tool facing one direction under their belly in order to get the other side of their feet. The spinning head also overheat the dogs nail really fast, which creates pain and heat quickly. You have to bounce it on and off so that the nail doesn’t get too hot. This machine is very lightweight! VERY quiet, and has almost no vibration. We have 4 dogs. 2 are small Yorkies and 2 are large rough collies. We needed something that could handle both. The protective cover on this machine is open enough to accommodate both sizes of nails with an opening on top of the spinner for the small dogs nails also without having to hold their toes so far apart and shoving the nail down through a hole like the other machines. The cover is very close to the grinding wheel so you don’t have to separate the toes. Taking off the protective cover is not safe with Yorkies that have long hair. If it bounces and grabs any hair, it WILL rip it out with the other machines. So this one is nice because the cover can be on but it is closely set to the spinner that you can reach very tiny nails into it. The cover is removable also, but it isn’t necessary to remove it in order to reach the nails. The opening on the top, flat side of the spinner is designed to fit small dogs nails and hold them in place. It works extremely well and it makes it so that you can hold the machine facing directly towards the nails so you don’t have to worry about the spinner spinning in the wrong direction and you don’t have to hold it strangely and uncomfortably in one direction under the belly to reach the feet on their left sides. My little dogs would rather pull their legs out of socket than get their nails trimmed so it’s always been a huge fight. But this machine is very fast, very quiet, with almost no vibration at all. It is smooth as silk and very, very fast. You don’t have to push much and it is so fast that you don’t get the heat built up from friction like we did with the other grinders. The dogs allowed us to grind their nails with very little argument. The opening on the protective cover on the side of the grinding wheel is large enough to do our big dogs nails. You can spin the cover around so that the opening is in a place that makes the grinder easy to hold. It also made quick work of grinding their nails as well. With the larger dogs without long hair, the cover can be removed also. The grinding wheel ground down the nails on both large and small dogs very quickly, smoothly, and without excessive friction heat. Since it is quiet with very little vibration, the noise doesn’t have them all running to hide before we even began. They all tolerated it very well. It didn’t create vibration in their feet so they were much less nervous and frightened. One final feature that I didn’t expect to matter at all is the light. I didn’t think that the light would do anything but it actually shines through the nail and helps you see where the quick is, which is a major benefit and more valuable than just having the area lightened up.Grinding our dogs nails has always been a huge fight and miserable for the dogs but this makes the job much more comfortable, quiet, and quick. Having the openings in the protective cover so close to the grinding wheel, having it rotate to help you get a good angle no matter where you are holding your dog, the quickness and smooth grinding, the light weight of the whole machine, and the light make this worth the extra $10.I’m SO impressed and SOOOO HAPPY and so are my dogs! Excellent machine so far. There are extra soft abs extra hard grinding wheels available for replacement which isn’t necessary but I think I will buy them to make the job even faster. Absolutely excellent product that I’m very glad I found! I would highly recommend it!

Positives: Beautiful Packaging, unit fits good in the hand, protective cover over the grinding stone/bit & comes with a charging cable.Cons: No Charger included, Old outdated Charging port option, charging port in an awkward position/location, don’t include different stone grit options (only included pre-assembled stone bit), no directions how to change stone/bit. No charger or charging stand holder option (either table/wall mounted). My opinion, being that it’s advertised as a Premium Tool, one would expect up-to-date technology/hardware, an opportunity to try optional stones being included with purchase. Update to follow, once unit has fully charged.UPDATE!! “AMAZING” performance!Extremely quiet! Zero vibration!Still stand firm on CONS mentioned previously.Adding ONE Additional CON!Although, the shape of this power tool is ergonomically designed for comfort, it lacks in grip. I have had to modify mine with silicone strips/stickers. It kept shooting out of my hand, like a 3 year old learning to eat a banana! ðI would like the seller/manufacturer contact me & justify not offering/ including optional grinding bits, & instructions how to change them.I “DO RECOMMEND” THIS TOOL FOR “EVERYONE’S” FUR BABY/BUDDY!THEY WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT!

Perfect little tool to keep my dogs nails trimmed. He won’t let us cut them but wasn’t phased by this. The noise level is very low and there is almost no vibration.

I like this unit. It is lightweight, quiet, and feels very well balanced & comfortable to hold. The led light is a nice addition, to help me see what Iâm doing. The battery holds a charge well, and the box is sturdy & safe for storage. But â Iâm using it instead of clippers and it takes a LONG time to grind through my 18lb Cavalierâs nails. He is still getting used to it, so we only do one or two feet at a time. It takes maybe 30-45 seconds of grinding on each nail, which may not sound like much, but the rotation creates friction so you have to keep pausing every few seconds to let the nail cool down. We are getting better, and can do one foot in about 10-12 min now.Thereâs no way I would use this to trim a larger dogâs nails, it would take way too long- Iâd go with a higher powered Dremel. But for grinding a small dogâs nails in lieu of clipping, or for smoothing a larger dogâs nails AFTER clipping, to smooth rough edges, this would probably work well.
