, Lyric Woodpecker Mix is the perfect treat for your feathered friends visiting your backyard bird feeders. Lyric Woodpecker Mix is an all natural, 100% edible, no-waste bird food that provides 8 nutritional ingredients for wild birds that include shelled peanuts, cracked corn, sunflower kernels, pecans, pistachios, shelled pumpkin seed, dried cranberries, and raisins. The high protein and fat content of this mix fuels birds’ high level of daily activity – whether they’re foraging for food in the winter or building nests in the spring. Lyric Woodpecker Mix can be used in most bird feeders, including mesh tube feeders, hopper feeders, and tray feeders. If you want to exclusively attract woodpeckers and other clinging birds, use a woodpecker feeder or peanut feeder. Woodpeckers will cling to the mesh and peck away at the various foods until they can eat them or pull them through the mesh to eat. Place the wild bird feed in the bird feeders and enjoy watching as the Woodpecker Mix attracts a wide variety of colorful and fun-to-watch wild birds like Acorn Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, nuthatches, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Stellar’s Jays, titmice, and more!
Premium mix of nuts, fruits, and seeds for woodpeckers and other wild birds
All-natural, 100% edible, no waste bird seed for outside feeders with high-protein and high-fat content for year-round feeding
Attracts wild birds like Acorn Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, chickadees, Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, nuthatches, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Stellar’s Jays, titmice, and more

Birds love it
This is as advertised! Waste free and attracts a never ending flow of birds! Woodpecker, Tufted Titmouse, chickadee, cardinals, blue jays, nuthatch, several different species of sparrows plus the 2 pigeons!! It lovely watching them take turns and chase each other at the feeder! Any leftover feed on my patio I collect and toss out for squirrels and chipmunks. Worth the money!

Lyric is the best, hands down.
I can’t say enough about the quality of Lyric bird seed. You can’t go wrong with any of the varieties, but I use mostly the Woodpecker mix, Fruit & Nut, Delite, Fine Tunes, and the Finch mix and the Chickadee mix. I also use strictly Golden Safflower seed in one of my feeders to keep the squirrels out (they won’t touch it). Yes, they are somewhat expensive, but what I do is mix them with Wagner’s Black Oil Sunflower, and I add in some dried mealworms to make my own custom blend (I even mix two or three varieties of Lyric) Best to avoid cheaper brands that add in a lot of red millet, golden millet (white millet is fine), and flax. Also not many birds eat milo, rapeseed, or canary seed. All of that stuff just gets wasted and harbors mold and bacteria. Also, note that sometimes you can get better prices on Chewy!

Good seed, thick bag, no mess – no waste
Its good seed, birds and squirrels love it. The bag is thick plastic so it doesn’t rip easy and stores easy. Never have to worry about the seed growing seeding when it hits the ground. Only drawback is it takes a little time to get it from the vendor.

BEST EVER! Birds flock to eat it!
This is the best bird mix I have ever bought! As soon as the birds see me, they descend on the birdfeeder en masse to get their share. No mess at all either (unlike some mixes that are “no mess” but still leave behind shells). Highly recommend!!

Good product
A bit pricey, but good seed/nut mixture. Birds & squirrels love it-especially blue jays.

Bought by mistake because I usually but the nuts and berries but the birds didn’t seem to mind
I usually feed not only the birds with the bird food and not finch food but nut and berries but the birds were quite happy
