Perfect mic for noobs and vets⦠but one flaw
The mic is a perfect fit. When I bought it, setup was easy and the sound quality was magnificent. It didnât pick up any background noise. My voice could crisp and clear. The price is awesome for the package youâre getting. The quality of the mic is amazing. I would 100% recommend this microphone to anyoneThe one thing that is wrong is the shock mount. Iâve had the mic for months and I had no problems. So then just one day after I went to sleep i came back to my set up to see a broken shock mount.The great people at maono support got right back to me in a few hours and they aggre to send a replacement so the total build quality is great itâs only the shock mount. I would just say be careful.

Sound quality, price and metal body make this a winner
I work from home and this microphone has great sound quality for my meetings. It was plug and play and worked immediately upon plugging in. WhileIt did have a usb-a to usb-c, I needed a c-c connection so I just used one I already had.My only minor quibble would be that the mounting ring is plastic, and it doesnât feel that sturdy. I may end up replacing that at some point.Also, be aware this didnât come with either a mounting arm or stand so youâll need that fully mount it. I expected this and already had one, so no biggie.Overall, this was a great value and the microphone itself is high quality and sounds great. You may need to invest in some accessories, like a new cord, stand or arm. But, you canât go wrong with this microphone.

Great USB mic for the price (XLR too)
Coming from a fifine 40$ mic that i bought years ago, for the $75 I paid when it wasnât on sale was a great deal. It sounds full and clearer then my other usb mic and my friends could instantly tell a difference.*important note: if your XLR this mic the program does not work nor does the headset feedback, these are usb only features*It has option for XLR, which I will be trying out in the future with fifins new XLR interface, But for USB itâs more then enough for even a YouTuber with some adjusting. I do use this for my own videos and itâs sound clarity and quality is above its price point. Also itâs recommended to talk into the top of the mix not the sides. The way this capsule is designed your best sound quality is from the top.The program works well and isnât sloppy like I thought it would be. Itâs well put together with intuitive design and lay outs. You can mute your mic, Change your RgB color and brightness form it and even have advanced options for mic sound adjustment like EQ (tip: they donât work that well your better off leaving it alone).The mute button feels good and is clicky but not cheap clicky , it feels premium.Cons:The RGb button on the bottom of the mic is hard to press in to activate and itâs in a weird spot so Iâd recommend using the program for the mic which you can also adjust all rgb settings like color and brightness within it.The âgainsâ dial on the mic is also pretty âmehâ with no Phyisical markings on it so itâs hard to tell how much gain your at. Iâd recommend messing with your âgainâ setting in the program as well. In fact I recommend using this mic pretty much entirely off the app itself and not the mic itself.A negative about the mic is when you turn your computer off your rgb stays on so youâll need to use the button or turn it off in the app before turning off your computer.The ring that holds the mic does feel cheap. the mic itself feels and looks premium but the ring is this ugly glossy plastic that looks like itâs where a lot of the cost cutting was at.The last con is the buttons and dials on the mic. Your RGb is on the bottom which you canât get to and your gain and mute button become impossible to see when your talking into the top of the mic. This is a preference thing but just be mindful of this when your pick out your mics, with this one youâll have a hard time controlling it from the mic if your not using an XLR or the app to control its settings which seems like how it was mostly intended to be used anyways.

Had bought the mic a few months back, worked wonderfully and had very good sound quality. Started to run into some issues with it. Contacted support and they were very responsive and helpful, agreed to send in a replacement. Will continue to purchase from Maono going forward definitely a great quality brand, and one of the best customer supports ive ever encountered.

I bought this microphone as the one I was using was an extremely old microphone. I set it up using the UBS-C to USB-A the “plug and play” feature is extremely useful. I use it to talk to friends is Discord and for content creation and its incredibly good. The sound quality is even better than I excepted and it look great too!. Anyone who’s creating a podcast, streaming, or content creation this would be great budget microphone.

I bought this mic last year and it works and sounds great! Had some problems with the shock mount. But after emailing customer support it all got sorted out very quickly! Would recommend as its a cheap mic and customer service is extremely good!
