They all say it works great and is amazing. It’s very comfortable to hold. The sides of each handle have a section where it’s rubbery and textured to make gripping even more comfortable.We had no trouble getting it to sync to our Switch. It seems to have a decent battery life; it doesn’t feel like we have to charge it very often. We’ve noticed no drift or lag issues.We haven’t tried to use the back programming buttons or the Turbo button.One thing that I haven’t seen other reviewers talk about is the rumble/vibration. This controller has a VERY strong rumble. My daughter loves this, but my son does not. Looking at the listing photos again, I realize that it claims you can choose between 4 levels of vibration power. Great! However, it doesn’t show how. Maybe it came with a product insert/instruction book that showed how, but if it did, that paper is long gone.

Solid controller, great battery life
I have been searching for a good Switch controller to avoid the expensive official Pro Controller. One of my early controllers complained constantly about Amiibo function not working, but was comfortable. Newer clones don’t complain, at least, but I haven’t found one that I was quite as happy with until now. This controller has everything I’ve been looking for in a controller — comfortable analog sticks, good location of the buttons (though they are only very slightly convex, they do the job), and the functionality is solid. Synced right up to one of my Switch systems (the one that I leave docked).The only quirk I found with this is that the Home button is not very intuitively located as a smaller button to the right side. Following convention of other consoles, the home button should be in the middle, but the Turbo button takes its place. If I was designing this, I’d have considered swapping those two. It’s no big deal, but something to get used to.For my hands, this controller is very comfortable. I use this for long sessions of ARMS with my son, and my hands hold up better with this one than some other controllers I’ve used. Likewise, the battery life has been great — I’ve played for hours without needing to recharge. I hope it stays that way over time.For the asking price, this seems to me like an unbelievable deal. I’m very happy with it.

Excellent wireless controller for RetroPie
I connected this to a raspberry 3b+ running retropie over bluetooth. I followed the instructions for setting up Nintendo Switch Controllers on the retropie docs site. Iâd link it, but itâs not allowed in amazon reviews. After installing the proper drivers, connect the joystick by pressing the button next to the usb port for 3 seconds, then press SR+SL (the plus and minus buttons) and it should register. Go into emulationstation, set up the input, and you are good to go.Overall, I really like the feel of the controller, it has a substantial feel to it. Responsiveness is excellent, I was able to hit my moves without issue. The dpad is also good, the diagonals are easy to find, and do not trigger accidentally. Really glad this controller has a usb-c port, most of my others do not. I did not notice any lag, and raspberry pi bluetooth isnât known for being the best, so thatâs also good.Great compatible controller for a retropie in addition to switch use.

Great controller for the price, no issues
I ordered this controller for one of my kids to use when we’re playing smash and mario kart, as the joy-cons are a bit fiddly for them to feel comfortable using. There have so far been no quality or connectivity issues with this controller, and we are really happy not paying OEM prices for additional controllers. They’re ergonomically great for small hands to grip, connect immediately and reliably, and there’s very little latency which is atypical for controllers at this price point. We are really happy to have found this one!

good for retro games
I am running this as a controller for retro games on a Laptop. This has a turbo button which is almost mandatory in some retro NES or SNES titles. It connected on the first attempt and always gets picked up seconds after turning on the controller 2 months later. I have it in a laptop bag which does go on trips and the sticks still are not drifting at all, so good so far.Materials and construction wise its just normal ABS plastic, not premium but also not bad. Its just a cheap pro controller. The sticks feel fine, the buttons are not crisp, but also not overly mushy. For under 20 bucks though its hard to beat this
