This bandana comes with its own collar which is SO nice. The collar itself is easily adjustable and isn’t a tough slider to make it tighter. My dog is a lab and she is usually a large in collars etc. This was ALMOST the size of an XL and I adjusted it about halfway. I would still get your dogs regular size to be safe. The collar slips through the bandana easily. The bandana is nice and big so you can see what is written. It just needs a bit of ironing! (:
