This is much bigger than I realized it was going to be, which I guess is a good thing, but not exactly what I needed. Otherwise, it seems great – the piggies loved them immediately. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the shipping time was too long, and I had issues with the first order even getting delivered, as my driver just decided not to deliver, so I had to cancel and reorder. Then, once I finally got them, one of the beds was like melted or something to the packaging, and I had to cut it off.

Seems Well-made
I haven’t used this in my bunny’s playpen yet so I can’t really comment on if she will use it. It’s still 80 to 90 degrees here in SoCal during the day. I still have a cooling pad in her house. It is very soft. I like heating pads for small pets which don’t need to be plugged in, since rabbits chew on cords, even if they are supposedly rabbit-proof. The cover is washable. Rabbits are very clean animals but hay and hay chews and such do make their living space a little messy. I think this is a worthwhile product.

Hairless Guinea Pig Approved!
I rescue hairless guinea pigs and it is very important that they are kept warm and comfortable. I am always on the look out for things that provide them comfort while being safe for them.My hairless guinea pigs love this pad. Very soft, and amazing quality. It heats up naturally from their body heat. I placed it inside of their hidey with a fleece pad underneath and they instantly gravitated towards it.I love how it does not need to be plugged in so when I leave for the day to run errands, I don’t have to worry about anything overheating. It washes well (cold water with hypoallergenic detergent and a little white vinegar) and is very soft. I highly recommend!

Crunchy sound scares animals
This must have a plastic liner to reflect heat, but the plastic or foil liner scares the animals when they step on it. Otherwise it’s OK if you can get them to stand on it.

My guinea pigs seem to love this but I’m not sure I do. They both try to eat the soft plush fabric and I don’t want it to cause a blockage and end up with a vet bill. It’s not plush at all. WhenI first looked inside I thought they just sent the liner and not the padding but the padding is just that thin.

Great size
There is so much to like about this guinea pig pad. It is very soft, but not bulky, and is a great size for the cage. It covers more of the area than some of our other smaller pads, which means we can put it under a hide and still have some outside if they would rather lay there. Holds up well!
