Calms my son’s pit bull so well!
I ordered this to be used on Neville, my son’s pit. He was rescued after being left outside in bad cold, bad weather tied to a tree for over a week. For this reason he does not like to go outside at ALL and will only go out to use the restroom then runs right back inside. He has not even been able to take him on walks in the year he has had him as Neville just tucks his tail and constantly pulls back for the safety of the house.This hoodie has changed almost all of that behavior. He still is not crazy about walks but now when he goes out he will lie in the sun and just enjoy being out in the back yard with the other dogs as long as he has this on. That has NEVER happened!Who knew something so simple could make such a drastic improvement in an abused dog’s life?By the way, he doesn’t just wear it when he goes out….he keeps it on most of the time. If you take it off he starts whining. It has become his security blanket! I will be ordering another one so that this one can get an occasional wash…LolAnd it obviously is super comfortable. It being soft, stretchy and adjustable means you can make it fit loose or tighten it up. He definitely prefers it snugged up.Highly recommend for nervous or anxious dogs….although I will admit it does look a little funny to see a “big, bad pit bull” wearing a hoodie! Drawstring features give full control of tightness around head
I used this in size small on a 7 lb female shih-tzu’s head during a nail grinding trim. It feels like a felt-blanket and is not very tight over the head. There are drawstrings that you use to tighten the hood on the head so the dog feels secure. It seemed to calm her down more than her not having it on. The quality of the drawstrings is great-they are thick and you have full control over how tight you want the hood over the dog’s head. It is simple to use right out of the package: slip over the head and tighten. Another feature is that it has the drawstring at the head and the base so you can tighten each side of the hood individually. The color is true pink and it is a very simple hood to place over the head. It is not fancy/cute/funny. It is functional and does the job it is meant to do which is provide comfort and shield the ears from loud noise.

Nice, but doesn’t work.
I’m giving this three stars because it is slightly better than the other one with velcro. While this is slightly more secure, not by much. My dog can still remove it. So I’m going to have to take this as a loss, and buy the name brand – No Flap Ear Wrap, because the dupes don’t work. (So if you were trying to use because your dog has a hematoma on the ear from shaking their head, if your dog is active, this is not going to stay on. Don’t waste your money on it)

Anxious dude, this is for you
We got this for our guy who has anxiety. If he had his choice, he’d wear it ALL THE TIME. Haha. He just chills when he wears it, he genuinely is happy. He just smiles at us and walks around the house or when he’s laying around. Also, our other two pups are female, they have NO issues. We’ve only had female dogs, this is our first male, and he seems to have anxiety so this is so new to us. He does have a big head, so it does fit most comfortably for him.

This dog hoodie is perfect for anxious dogs. It feels like a constant hug around their head to keep them calm during stressful events such as storms, fireworks, or even blow-drying! It fits my three dogs of various sizes great. I wish I had ordered a smaller size so that it would have a more snug fit. It’s adjustable and easy to put on, and so far it stays on too. It’s a comfortable, soft, stretchy material.

Dog finds it comfortable
This fits my dog perfectly and my dog doesn’t mind it and she finds it comfortable. I have used it on a couple of occasions and it seems to be helping her a little bit to calm down. She gets extreme anxiety especially with fire works so I’m hoping this helps when the time comes.

Doesn’t work for my small dog
I don’t know if it would work for the barking or not because in the first place I have a hard time getting it on my small dogs head because he won’t keep his head still to get it on. When I do get it on even though I tighten it, it doesn’t stay around his ears as soon as he shakes his head it’s moved. It might work better for larger dogs.
