Great Lens For The Sony ZV1
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that lenses like this are available for the Sony ZV1, and this one is absolutely perfect. The wide-angle lens enhances the field of view beautifully without distorting the image or creating a fisheye effect. The results are clear, natural, and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Buy this for your ZV-1 and it will transform this little camera into something even better.Before I got this lens kit I was actually considering selling my ZV-1 and buying an a7iii because the fixed lens hindered so many things for me.Itâs built with quality material, doesnât feel stressful to the cameraâs frame, the area of view is noticeably increased as well. Just watch some reviews on YouTube and they can show you in real time the difference in frame size with this thing.Both the macro lens and the wide angle lens are threaded which means you can add filters to this kit as well if you wanted to. This is another feature of the ZV-1 in its stock body that discouraged me. But with this lens kit I can use filters now and that excites me a LOT.If you use a small-rig cage, like myself, be sure to have the L shaped cage and not the full frame one that is secured around the lens because you will have to sacrifice the cage for the lens extension. The L shaped cage will allow you to use both the lens and cage together.Remember folks, all cameras are great, itâs he who uses it that entails whether your footage is good or bad!

Itâs Easy To Put Together
I love the wide angle lens it matches my camera so perfectly. It gives my camera that WOW LOOK. The only thing that didnât satisfy my needs was that it did come with a scratch (on the right side where the screw is ) but itâs not that noticeable to others but close up I can see it personally. I love how it didnât come with an adhesive sticker to mount the lens. Itâs easy to put together and screw on. 10/10 would recommend 🙂 Iâm going to give it all together 4/5 stars because of the scratch itself. Also it gives your videos that wide look that we all want !

Update: A year after I purchased this, the clamp part that goes over the cameras lens cracked and fell off. I contacted Neewer and they sold me just that part. This company is amazing!The instructions were a tiny bit confusing, but I finally figured it out. And this lense is pretty awesome! I have a smallrig on my zv1 and this luckily fit with that on, cause with the bulk and weight this lense adds I’m glad I have that extra handle now.I’ve only used it for a few clips, but so far it doesn’t seem to have any distortion, which is great. And it makes the camera much more manageable for vlogging.It’s kinda heavy, but that doesn’t bother me a whole lot. And it came with a lense cap, which some of the questions had be wondering about.I trust Neewer as a brand overall because their products are always the highest quality and this lense is no exception. I’m glad I got found it!

Not an 18mm E Mount Lensâ¦
Wish I would have seen the other review that pointed this out before I bought it. Unfortunately I took the description at face value. It is not an 18mm lens and has no mount at all, it is just a macro and wide angle lens adapter that threads into a 49mm diameter, so you have to use the bayonet and spacer if you donât have a 49mm diameter lens. Luckily I have a 35mm E mount lens that this threads into or I would be returning it. I hate inaccurate descriptions and misleading item headers.

Perfect wide angle/macro lens
This lens adds the perfect amount of a wide angle and macro to the Sony ZV-1 stock lens. It also adds a nice aesthetic to the camera and makes it look a little nicer. It adds a little weight to the front of the camera but not too much. Iâm still able to use it with each of my tripods without worrying about it being too front heavy. Definitely a great investment.

Looked good, and I see that ZV1 owners are happy. But, the listing says “Compatible with Sony E-Mount” and… No, I don’t THINK so! Cannot mount on my A6xxx bodies/lenses. Sounds good, but not for Sony E-Mount cameras.

The amount of NEEWER products I’ve purhcased is just ridiculous at this point. I keep coming back, because the quality is always decent.I didn’t even know that the Sony ZV-1 could USE an external lens, so was suprised to see this when I was looking up reviews.A great wider angled lens, which is perfect for recording content. The ZV-1 does crop in a tiny bit more than some people would like (especially if you’re looking to VLOG) so this gives that additional space in the frame if needed.I will say, there is a slight bit of fish-eye type distortion if you’re shooting at the widest it can go – so keep that in mind. But, for an attachable lens – pretty damn good, I say.

I ordered this for my Sony ZV1, and I’m glad I did. It took me a while to figure out how to attach the 2nd lens though.(Tip: You have to screw the 2nd lens on top of the Macro Lens when attached to the camera. You can’t attach the 2nd lens to the camera without the Macro lens being attached already).Pros: – Great improvement to the quality of the videos/photos taken. – Great against light glares. – Increases contrast and sharpness. – Seems very sturdy / high in quality.Cons:- Makes the camera easily 2x as heavy. Personally, I don’t mind, but if you want to keep the camera lightweight for travel, this might become an issue. – It would have been nice to know how to attach the 2nd lens. This wasn’t really mentioned in the description, so I had to figure it out on my own.
