Great, needs a few tweaks
The vibrant colors and variety of features make it a standout addition. The included instruction book is detailed and helpful, making setup straightforward. The lights are stunning, but I do have a couple of recommendations for improvement: 1. It would be great if the lights were available in longer lengths or could be connected to additional strands for greater flexibility (it doesnât seem like this is an option). 2. To utilize the neon shaping feature, it would be great if it had an included backing product to help with shaping.Despite these minor suggestions, weâre really impressed with the quality and are happy with our purchase overall!

Skeptical At First, But Then….
I was skeptical at first about the neon rope after unboxing and was quite worried as the lights were not connecting to the app. But then I realized I had the wrong app downloaded and then obtained the right app. Once I opened the correct app the lights easily and quickly connected without having to do anything.The massive amount of rbg light settings and colors is quite amazing, and there’s no shortage of visual that you get to experience. I also like the fact that I can adjust the ‘pixel’ count in the app so that the curtain close and curtain open visual styles would be directly in the middle of the rope. I also like the fact that I can adjust the pin settings in the app to change up the colors as well.The diffusion of the lighting on the rope is very very good and the rope feels quite decent in my hands. I’m still trying to get a design worked out to place on the walls, so I haven’t mounted the lights yet, but after playing around with the rope, I like how easy it is to maneuver the rope around and I feel as if the mounting will be quite easy.All in all, this is a great visually appealing neon rgb led rope light, it feels good, looks good and I’m thoroughly satisfied with this light. I definitely plan on getting more of these to extend my rgb setups.

Cool rope light!
This is a really bright and brilliantly colored rope light. It comes with little plastic holders and tiny screws to attach them to whatever youâre putting the rope on and then you just clip the bottom of the rope light into the clip. It comes with little stickers to hold the clips too, but those all failed on me after about 12 hours. The stickers are handy for getting the clip where you want it and holding the clip in place to pre-drill holes for the little screws, and then you can just go back around and crank the screws in easily; I would just be wary of relying on the stickers completely to hold the clips as all of mine let go of the clips.The rope itself is a soft silicone and the lights are very bright. I like that when you have it on a multicolor setting, the colors sort of blend together, rather than some other rope lights that look like little colored dots. The lights also connect to the duoCo StripX app where you can dial in specific static colors or choose what color program to run from the long list of 40 of them. The remote also works great to change the lights through all the different modes that cause the lights to dance and chase, and you can set the basic static colors individually with the remote as well.

Almost what I wanted
These rope lights run off USB (5V) and so are relatively low power. High brightness on these is equivalent to low brightness on my other wall-powered strip lights.The colors are rich and there are several patterns to run. I’ve verified the pattern and brightness settings are saved even when power is lost (nice!).These are great for a little ambiance but cannot really light up a room much.On full white, full brightness, the white is not consistent from one end to the other. This is a very common issue with rope lights and one of my main gripes. This strip is better than many, but still shows the problem.The individual lights are visible along the string, but still are pretty close together. If you tuck this just behind a molding the reflected light you would see would be very smooth.
