Exactly what I want for fixed mm
I read a lot of reviews to compare lenses for my Nikon D7500 and this lens rated better than non-Nikon brand names, was reasonably priced, and it is fantastic. Very happy with the lens and highly recommend getting the brand name instead of competitors (and I have purchased mainly non-Nikon lenses in the past for Nikon bodies).

Overpriced. Buy new instead
The lens is great. It’s the little things dragging the rating down. They replaced the mount cover cover at least. The lens cover is original Nikon. This is a “Renewed” lens by Amazon. No scratches, dents, dings, or damage. No Bayonet Hood, which a new lens would come with. Replacing the bayonet hood brings the cost of this to less than $20 of the cost of a new one. If the wife didn’t like it so much, I’d send it back and buy a new one. There is a seller who is offering a filter kit, and cleaning kit with this lens in new condition that is less than $20 the cost of this one and the cost of a replacement bayonet hood. So for Amazon “Renewed” this is overpriced for what you get. If Amazon takes in a return, and “Renews” it, at least make sure whoever returned it returns all of the items it shipped with.

This “renewed” camera lens came very quickly. It came in an original box with everything it had as new. The soft lens case,both lens covers, the manual, the lens looks like it was never used. Very happy with this puchase.
