Love this sense
I purchased a Z5 and originally purchased the converter that allows you to use the older F lenses and that is all well and good BUT if you are in a hurry and want something compact this original sense for the Z mounts is the way to go. Very light, takes just as well as my D600 with Tameron 28-300 sense. So for the price and functionality or ease of taking pictures this one really helps to cut down on weight but still allow quality pics.

Great price and awesome lens
I just wanted an inexpensive zoom lens to try on my camera without breaking the bank. This lens has performed beautifully. I can only imagine a more expensive lens would be overkill for my use

Beware lens ordering
This lens arrived used (reconditioned) and I had expected it to be new. The price from Nikonwas the same but Nikon sends new lenses with warranties. This lens unknown to me was “repackaged”and no warranty, just a notice it was not new.Beware, you need to have lens warranties and this expensive of a zoom lens. Was returned since I was not going to keep a “reconditioned” lens without warranty.

Great Lens, Bad Packaging
This is a great lens – small, lightweight, great image quality, and a good value for the price. My issue from this seller is that it was VERY poorly packaged for shipping – virtually no padding or protection whatsoever. Considering the price of the lens, a slightly bigger box and a little bubble wrap would hve been nice. Despite the packaging, the lens seems to be working OK. There’s something knocking around a bit inside, but from what I’ve read, that’s pretty common with this particular lens and isn’t affecting performance as far as I can tell.
