I have an older 19lb Havanese pound “puppy” who is one of the PICKIEST eaters I have ever had the pleasure of loving as my fur baby… he LOVES this food. His potties have been a lot healthier, no more random vomiting, and the urge to eat grass with an upset tummy has also subsided. The fact that my dog enjoys eating is all I needed to know, but all the other benefits (while unexpected) have been amazing!YES, its more expensive… but considering all the digestive issues my bud used to have, I’ve saved a ton on vet bills. Small bites for little dogs is also a plus!

I recently switched both of my dogs over to Orijen from The Honest Kitchen and they both just finished their first bags. I can certainly say that my American Bully puppy is tolerating this food much better than her old food. Her skin is no longer dry and flaky, she’s not itching constantly, her bald patches from chewing on her skin have fully filled back in, her black coat is rich and shiny, and her awful gas has almost completely diminished. Although the price tag on this food is higher than most, you are getting a more densely packed nutritious food with high quality ingredients. Our pups are our babies so giving them the best is a no brainer for us. Very happy with my purchase of ORIJEN Amazing Grains Puppy Large & ORIJEN Amazing Grains Fit & Trim.

My dog is on this brand due to stomach issues and since he started he has had no troubles. He loves the taste. Even cat will try and nibble some too! It is expensive compared to other dog foods, but seems to work well and comparible price to other pet stores.

Only food I feed my pups!
I’ve been feeding this to all my pups for the last 6 years! My pups have never had any problem with the taste, but they’re also not very picky eaters. My parents spoiled, picky eater that always has to investigate EVERYTHING offered to her, 70lb pittbull on the other hand-GOBBLES this up when I feed this to her when she stays with me when my parents go on vacation!!I had a pup that passed from cancer in 2022 and was relieved to read from cancer diet researches in canines that this was a good brand b/c it was very nutritional and didn’t contain any fillers and other products that could worsen her condition to “feed” the cancer.A caveat about this food: it is EXTREMELY nutrient dense! So, the amount you were previously feeding your pups from another brand needs to be reduced when feeding them Orijen. I learned that the hard way when I switched them and noticed how cutely chubby they were getting, lolz! ❤️

Great feeding option for high protein needs
I received this dog food as a part of a review and trial from Home Testers Club and it definitely did not disappoint. Upon receiving it I read the packaging to make sure it had an appropriate amount of protein and fat for my pups. I have two Pitbulls and their breed requires high protein and high fat for their diet. This food is almost perfectly balanced for them so that made me happy, however, it still needed to be put to the test of two finicky eaters. The food itself is very high calorie compared to a lot of mainstream dry dog foods, so definitely read the directions for feeding and give the appropriate amount as it is likely less kibble than you are used to dishing out for your fur baby. My first impression was a little shocked at the smell. It smells pretty bad in my opinion, however it comes in a recloseable bag so that isn’t a deal breaker. Both dogs actually loved it. And they both seemed to take to it well and thrive with plenty of energy and no upset stomachs.

Finally a dry kibble that I do not have to beg them to eat. The ingredients are good and the dogs have shiny coats and no digestive problems. I do add yummy real food and veggies on top, salmon oil etc. as my dogs are my kids but they will eat it dry. I have bought several of the flavors and all are appreciated. Latest member of the family is a medium large puppy, this this version to make sure he gets what his growing body needs.The price is scarey ! But the dogs look wonderful so I will keep ordering this brand. And Amazon’s service is excellent !
