Great for cold but not long hair
This ski mask was great for cold weather, but left my hair very static-y when taking it off. Very warm, so I would recommend only wearing when it is very cold outside. True to color, does not it around ski helmet

Thick and warm. Great fit for a smaller adult head but harder to breath through.
UPDATED: My niece wore this on our ski trip to MT. It was very thick and warm but a little too bulky under a snow mobile helmet wearing goggles. It was best worn with goggles and a ski helmet as the drawstring area got bulky with the full head snow mobile helmet and goggles. Itâs nice you can tighten the area around your face. It was very warm and plenty of room for your hair.ORIGINAL: I have purchased several balaclavas for our upcoming trip to Yellowstone Montana. This mask was slightly more expensive but a lot thicker and the face area is adjustable. However, itâs harder to breathe through as there is no mesh panel. It tends to slide below my nostrils but my ski mask might keep it up. The fleece is not itchy. Itâs thick and warm. I like the adjustable draw strings for the upper face area. The extra thick neck will block wind. This is a nicely made balaclava. This mask is great for young adults and women as it fits smaller. I only wish it had a small mesh breathing panel. I will update early January. Comparably priced.
Burning down the house –
Wonderful for winter
This balaclava is a lifesaver on cold windy days. Itâs warm and comfy and you can wear it several ways depending on your need for warmth. I chose the brown color which turned out to be a beautiful taupe, very attractive and neutral enough to go with almost anything. Iâve worn this walking and bicycling in the rain and wind, as well as around house and office. If I were to redesign any thing on this, I would make the ties the same color as the hood itself â they are black and makes you look like you have whiskers.

Too small to fit over helmet
Not for use over a helmet – too small. I wear a size small helmet and this does not cover my full helmet. I just purchased a Burton balaclava and it fits so much nicer

I ended up buying a different hat. This hat is good for children or adults with small heads.

The OWNGIGI Balaclava Ski Mask is a great fleece head and mouth covering ideal for brisk winter weather. I live at a higher elevation overlooking a lake. There is ALWAYS a breeze or windy conditions off the lake. It is great in the summer but the wind chill in the winter is brutal! This ski mask is fantastic for wearing on blustery days when I need to clear snow, for cross country skiing, or snowshoeing on the lake after it freezes. The balaclava has a drawstring closure to pull it snug around your face. It is also machine washable. A great value!
