Nice buttons, gyro may take some tweaking
The buttons and joysticks feel awesome. The controller is on the heavy side which might be up to personal preference.However I bought this controller for the gyro feature and nearly returned it because it wasn’t working right. It worked fine wired but was super wonky via bluetooth. I have managed to get it working well enough for my taste. Some tips for gyro users: the gyro is off by default, you have to turn it on in the Beitong software. Turn on the overdrive option if you’re going to use it via bluetooth. Whatever joystick you assign it to, turn the deadzone to 0 and the response curve to immediate. Turn the deadzone compensation way up, I use 20. Most importantly update the bluetooth drivers on your computer! This was my biggest problem. It was really laggy on my Legion Go but was working fairly well on my desktop. I updated the Go’s bluetooth drivers and it was so much better.Even with all this tweaking the gyro via bluetooth is not quite as good as the steam controller (which I also have) or even the legion go controllers with handheld companion (which has it’s own problems), but it’s PRETTY GOOD.

Some Problems but that might be user Error
I am personally not a huge fan of the switch button which changes the controls in a weird way to me lol. Not fun to be mid game accidentally hit that button and then your control stops âworkingâ. But besides that user error. I have had a couple connections problems with certain a games. It is a very good control and easy to use. Easy set up as well. Easier with the dongle it comes with. If you like clicky buttons and what not this controller is for you

The Xbox Elite controller should watch out!
This controller is great, and I’m NOT going to qualify that by saying for an after-market controller. While I genuinely like this controller it’s still not my favorite. That goes to another controller made by BEITONG the Asura 2 pro. The reasons are small though and I gladly use this one over that one for one reason. The Asura 2 pro has amazing triggers and I love the gold touches and the feel of it but while it can connect to PC wirelessly either by dongle or Bluetooth just like this one it will not provide haptic feedback when connected wirelessly meaning I only use it with a cable. This controller on the other hand does give feedback when connected wirelessly to PC and for the most part, is just as good as the Asura 2 pro. It even has some features the pro doesn’t have such as joystick sensitivity adjustments you can make by a simple turn of the shroud of the joystick and trigger throw adjustments that can be made with the flip of a switch on the back of the controller, both of which are impressive and can be made separately on either joystick or trigger. The other feature on this one that I haven’t seen before is the option of customizing your controller with added weight in the handles for balance. I slightly prefer the grip and movement of the Asura 2 pro’s joysticks over these but they feel very good on this controller as well.

My favorite controller, flaws and all
This controller is crisp and well designed. It has ONE big flaw and one small flaw IMHO.Big flaw is that the left stick has seized up on my some. It isn’t terrible and a little machine oil or teflon can solve the problem, but Hall Effect sticks would make this a near perfect controller. For the price this controller is a steal.I LOVE the dials on the sticks that let you adjust sensitivity on the fly.The XYAB buttons are crisp and click in a good way, like a mechanical keyboard.The other SMALL flaw is that the USB C connection has nothing to protect the cord where it meets the controller and would be better if it was recessed to protect the connection. At this price you can buy five of these for the price of one XBox Elite controller. A new one every year for five years, which is a bargain.

This is my second BEITONG controller and it’s awesome! I have the Asura 2s pro wireless as well and they function similarly, you HAVE to use the dongle, no bluetooth on these. There’s 2 modes, both work fine with my linux PC (I have not tested the software to edit the controller for the Asura 3s, as it’s not compatible with linux and I don’t have any desire to modify them) As a replacement for a xbox one or 360 controller this is night and day better. The buttons are responsive and consistent, the adjustable triggers is wicked handy and the on the fly adjustment of the joysticks sensitivity is a really cool feature. I haven’t put this one to the test in a FPS game yet, but I really love the feel and weight.The quality of these controllers is amazing. I tested stick accuracy and it’s at .6% deviation which is outstanding for me.

So I really wanted this to be my new go to controller. I love that it comes with weights to customize, and it feels great in my hands. Pairing was good, (though I did have some trouble because I use Steam as well as other services. You can’t have Steam opened and use any other service, or it just won’t work. Took me a bit to figure that out!)The controller works well, doesn’t seem to be any input lag that I can feel (not a pro gamer, though…)I also don’t play fighting games where specific sequences are required to play. I mostly play adventure/solo rpg type games (Spider-Man, Jedi Survivor, Tomb Raider… etc.Overall I would say I am happy with the controller, honestly it has a ton of settings I have not even used because I wanted to see how it is just as it comes, but there is something that just doesn’t feel perfect about it. I am not sure what it is, but it feels like maybe the buttons are mapped differently than my previous xbox controller. Maybe it is just a software thing.I am still using it, and like I said overall I am happy, but I am still looking for something better.
