Bird friends enjoying it
I recently picked up the Bird Blend Nut & Fruit mix, and my wild birds friends absolutely love it! The combination of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit seems to be a hit. The mix is fresh, and it’s a nice change from their usual food. I also appreciate that it’s a healthy option with a good variety of ingredients. The only downside is that it can be a bit on the pricey side, but I think the quality justifies it. Definitely a great choice for keeping the happy and healthy!

Happy Songbirds
Switched to this bird food 4 days ago. We get Cardinals, Blue Jays, Doves and other song birds in our yard. The birds and squirrels have all seemed quite content with this food blend throughout the snow experienced in Kentucky this week.Blend is balanced making it a solid value. One food for both squirrels and birds Is appreciated for convenience.

Cheep! Peep. Pip. Squawk! The birds love it!
I had gotten a plexiglass bird feeder that suction cups onto my kitchen window and this seemed like the perfect food for the little guys and gals. I’m visited all day long by my little feathered friends now, except when the bully Cardinal chases them off and then, typical of bullies everywhere, he flies off afraid once he sees me. And every night, there’s the a$$hole raccoon who stops by and tries to eat every thing thats left to be eaten. He won’t be scared off unless I go outside and chase him away. But yes, bu all means, this bird seed is a hit. Buy it!

The birds like it, but not all of it
I love that this is she’ll free – I have an “illegal” (according to my HOA) bird feeder on my deck, and I need to have mess free seed. My only complaint is there is a lot of the very small seeds (I believe it’s millet) that the birds don’t love, so it takes a bit for them to eat it all. So it’s not the best mix, but certainly good for the price point.

Birds love it!
Good quality. Birds love it. Squirrels do not which is great!

Product has changed-not the same mix
This is my 5th purchase. Product has changed. No peanuts. No fruit. Mostly millet which has a messy shell. They added sunflower seeds with shells! It is mostly millet. Lot# A2623 19:9. This is no longer waste-free. This is nonreturnable. I will receive a refund and I’ll order it again in the hopes that this last purchase was a one-time mixup by the manufacturer. If next order comes back the same I will look for a different brand of “No Hulls, No Mess” seeds. If their ingredients have permanently changed for the worst, didn’t Pennington figure that us Birders would notice this?UPDATED REVIEW: I changed this from 2 stars to 3 stars. This 5th purchase is a little better than my original review. There must have been a lot of settling as I did find some peanuts and fruit in the mix after all. However, there is way too much millet in the mix. Also, sunflower seeds in their hull were added to this mix which was in a blue bag. My prior purchases were in a green bag and there were no sunflower seeds in their hulls in that mix. This product should not be labeled “No Hulls No Mess” if seeds in their shells are in the mix.
