Good Size, Easy Assembly
I have been wanting a self-cleaning litter box for my cats for a while now. This one is a decent size for them; I didn’t need anything too big. Its round shape fits well in the space I chose for it. Assembling the litter box was incredibly easy. I found the user manual helpful, but I also watched the video provided by the seller on their Amazon page, which addressed some of my questions during assembly. Everything is labeled perfectly, making it straightforward to put together. I’m glad I watched the video because I wouldn’t have figured out that I needed to remove the red stick after placing the top.The legs are made of wood, which is interesting, as the rest of the construction is plastic or silicone. I find that it is a bit high for my cats to get into, so I’ve placed a little ramp for now until I find something more secure. Everything came together perfectly. The package included 50 bags, four deodorizers, tools, and gloves, which I think is great.In terms of noise, it’s not too bad. When one of my cats does her business, she tends to go where the silicone mat meets the plastic, so some of it sticks there and doesn’t end up in the bin. However, this isn’t a big issue, as she still uses it just fine. The fact that she is using it is a huge plus!The app that accompanies the litter box is straightforward to use. One of my girls is a bit scared of the noise it makes, but the other has no problem using it. I kept their original litter box to help them transition to the new one. For now, I don’t leave it on when I’m away from home, but I have set up a camera to monitor it during the day when I’m not in the room, all for peace of mind.Overall, I am very pleased with this self-cleaning litter box, and I highly recommend it!

Works but too “Smart” for its own good
With this I’ve now tested every variety of automatic litter box. This one works well but has a couple of annoying aspects. By nature of its design, it is difficult to add litter to. You can’t really fit a big jug of litter through the opening. Related to that, it has a safety feature which prevents it from doing its spinny-sifty thing when it senses something weighing more than 2.5 pounds in it- like a cat. Well, to make that work you have to put the thing in “add litter mode” which involves pressing and holding a button for a 3 seconds. Its not like that is such a horrible chore, but it feels like a hoop to jump through for a device that’s supposed to be a convenience. The real problem is that, you’ll likely forget to put it in add litter mode, and then the thing stops working until you unplug it and plug it back in. It would be more reasonable and plenty safe to have it assume that if the weight doesn’t change for say, 2 hours… there’s not a cat in there.Next there is the size issue. Its big. Its visually obtrusive. At the same time, the actual litter space is not especially large, if you have a very big cat they may be averse to use this, or miss the litter area spraying the walls instead. A raking style box provides a bigger target for the cat. There is plenty of headroom in this, however.It also has an app. Why in the world does a litter box need an App? Why would I want that on my phone or another piece of foreign mystery tech on my home network? The good news is it does work without the app.Putting it together also took a while. Which isn’t such a big deal, I kind of like putting things together- but I imagine I will need to take this thing apart and clean its MANY parts on a regular basis and THAT is going to really be a problem.I do appreciate that it came with two rolls of trash bags and 4 deodorizing packs.My recommended litter box for these reasons is the self-raking style, combined with a cabinet to hide it.

Good Looking, Easy Setup, & Works Great!
This is an excellent “litter robot”. It works really well and the app even weighs your cat! It’s sturdy and well built with a nice wide gear that engages the ball super smoothly. Some of the mechanical features that I love include the roller collar using four bearings and a locking mechanism. This has proven to be super smooth and super stable. I love the redacted roller cover design because it means less to clean! The only caveat – get high quality clumping litter. “Light” litter, or poor quality clumping litter means you will be cleaning your litter robot way more than if you use better litter.Unpacking and installation: This was packed very well and you have to assemble it. Assembly is a snap and as a nice bonus this comes with a magnetic hex head tool that has a wobble bit. Bonus for including a high quality tool and an extra bolt. The only tricky part is getting the two halves to line up – take your time and it will go together easily. This package came with TWO rolls of littler box liners and TWO packs of air freshener. That’s a great package. The first litter robot I owned skimped on the number of littler lines.Once assembled, download the app and you’re good to go. Setup was a snap and the cats got in and started using it right away. Like I said at the beginning, I love the minimalist cover, not only does it look good, it allows you to see if anything is getting dirt where it shouldn’t. It’s easy to take off and makes for easy cleanup. Nice product, easy to assemble, looks good, and most importantly, keeps cat litter mess and smells to the absolute minimum. Worth every star.
