Warm, warm, warm
I recently purchased thiswarm coat, and it has been an absolute game-changer for cold weather. The length is perfect, falling above the knees to provide extra warmth and coverage, especially on windy or snowy days. The material is thick and high-quality, keeping me cozy even in freezing temperatures. The insulation is excellent without being overly bulky, so it’s warm and comfortable to wear for long periods.I also love the thoughtful design features, like the deep pockets, snug cuffs, and a well-insulated hood. The coat feels stylish and practical, making it perfect for both casual outings and more formal occasions.

Nice and warm
I’m 5′-5″ (165 cm) weighing 145 pounds (65 kg), and I come from wearing an overcoat measuring 40 inches in the chest, and I wear medium t-shirts and button-down shirts. I bought the small size. It could fit someone larger than me by a few inches. Before buying this, my go-to jacket was a Chaps Ralph Lauren double-breasted jacket, nylon shell with a liner inside. It was sufficient where I previously lived, with short runs to and from the far through temperatures near 30 degrees F and 0 degrees C, but not where I moved to over this past summer where I am a pedestrian waiting for minutes outside in the 20s F and -5 C. The liner upgraded it significantly, but only in the torso area. Protection for the arms was very lacking in cold or windy weather. While the scarf helped keep me warm, I needed the scarf more than I would have needed it if the jacket had a non-nylon collar.Overall, this is a really good jacket, and for a really good price. As another reviewer said, I no longer use the scarf I needed when I wore with that, and I don’t need my hat either. One thing I was disappointed about as soon as this jacket arrived is that it didn’t have its own collar; the top of the jacket blended into the hood just as hoodie sweatshirts do. I wanted a jacket that had a full collar for more consistent warmth. I thought that was going to be an important failing, so in case any readers feel like they might have an issue with that: that turned out not to be a problem for me–yet, anyway. This season, at least, whenever I’ve been too cold where a collar would have helped, I’ve also needed a hat or this jacket’s hood, so the lack of the collar is moot. The hood on this jacket is really good. It is very good protection from rain, as you might guess, but also from wind. I don’t know how common this detail is in other jackets, but this jacket’s hood has at least two layers of fabric, and one of them has something of a constrictor around the front of the hood so that if you’re facing a headwind and your jacket is fully zipped up, the constrictor will not allow the hood to fly back and off of your head.As I’m wearing the jacket with the hood up, I’ve observed that while I may be facing a great deal of wind and cold temperature, while my legs may be on the cold side and the front surface of my face is too, the rest of me is very warm, and I feel like the hood creates an envelope of very comfortable temperature from top to bottom.I love the protection of the hood, but I don’t love how the hood’s fabric crinkles as I walk. It crinkles due to changing contact with my hair and/or my ears, and when I arrive at my destination and I put the hood down I enjoy the glorious silence that comes with not having that constant sound. I normally walk alone in my commute, but sometimes I take a leisure or utility walk with my wife and I’d rather be able to converse with her. That said, if I felt like it I could wear my hat and so avoid the crinkling. The hand pockets are way too low for someone as short as me. As another reviewer noted, those pockets can only be for hands, because anything you put in there is at risk of falling out too easily, and as low as they are, they aren’t useful for even that, so that means they’re completely useless for someone with arms as short as mine. The other pockets just inside those are nice. They’re big enough to hold my gloves and the Kindle Voyager that I read on my commute.Having this jacket means I have two fewer things to deal with when I exit and when I enter a building. No more dealing with donning a hat and scarf, and I no longer have to drape my scarf around my neck or carry it with my jacket as I’m inside, and the pockets are big enough to hold the things I need as I’m killing time on the commute.

Warm Parka
After many hours of browsing online, I finally found the best parka. It is long, waterproof, warm, very well lined, plenty of pockets, and a great hood!! I’m 6’5 and 240 lbs. I initially.ordered an XXL, but realized it was too big in the chest. (About 4” too big). Checking the size chart, the XL was basically the same length, sleeves were only 1/2” shorter, but the chest was 4” less. Purchased the XL and it fits perfectly. Wearing a medium weight shirt or sweater underneath , is all you need for warmth. The zipper is quality and has med size snaps for the cover. Large upright pockets and additional hand pockets are very suitable. Left shoulder has small zipper pockets and inside has the left breast pocket, which is perfect for the largest of cell phones. The hood is warm and sizable for use with a knit beanie or even a ski helmet. Adjusted by two pull strings, it will keep out that rain or snow. The hood is not removable and has no fluffy faux fur!! This was a plus for me! I have previously misplaced the hoods off of other parkas.I highly recommend this garment!!

Pretty good
5’11, 220lbs. Bought an XXL because of reviews. Some reviews stated that buying their actual size wasn’t good because the chest and shoulders were a little tight. I’m normally a L or XL. The sleeves are the perfect length so I am glad I didn’t choose a L or XL, however the chest, belly & waist area have lots of room. If I was certain that the sleeves were the same length at an XL I’d probably return it in exchange and get an Xl. But I’m sure the sleeves would be slightly shorter so I’ll keep the XXL. If you plan to use this jacket/coat without a hoodie and or thick vest then I would suggest buying your actual size for a more fitted fit or one size up for a little extra room. I plan to use this jacket/coat with a hoodie and a thick vest for the cold winters in New York so the extra space through the body is good. It is a little long which is good as you can see in the product photos. I may buy another in size L or XL to use with just a long sleeve or not so thick hoodie. But I’ll contact the vendor to find out the sleeves length first. At 5’11 220lbs & slightly muscular I feel the sleeve length is perfect but the rest of it has lots of room. So the dimensions I’d say are slightly off. I would recommend buying it so long as you understand the sizing and what you plan to wear underneath the jacket/coat. I guess it has a “oversized look” except for the length of the sleeves, which I think would be shorter if you choose your actual size. Again don’t know how much shorter the sleeve length is at smaller sizes so I can’t say for sure, but I’ll update this review if I find out. The quality is excellent and the style is very nice. I’d give it a 4 out of 5 stars. -1 star because I feel the sleeves should be just a little longer so that I could buy an Xl and have a better overall fit. But hey it’s amazon, order it try it on, if you need to return it and change the size then do so, it’s worth the slight hassle of returning. Also I received it 1 day after ordering so that’s great.Update: ordered it again in a Large. Pretty good fit but can’t put much under, maybe a thin hoodie or a reg sweatshirt. Arm length is still good. I’m both a Large and XL. The jacket/coat is pretty warm. So if you don’t plan to wear much under it I’d go for a L. If you want a hoodie or a few layers I’d choose XL. Hope this helps..

Très bon manteau chaud par contre je ne suis pas satisfait de la couleur. La couleur « gris foncé » du manteau que j ai commandé ressemble à du « vert foncé » et correspond pas à la photo de l annonce
