Loud, animated, totally fun. Assembly is slightly tricky.
The parrot is awesome in a slightly annoying but very fun way. It repeats back what you say (or any random noises it picks up), in addition to saying phrases like “Hello”, “I love you”, “I see you”, letting out a wolf whistle, snoring, and this maniacal laugh. Yeah, it’s a little creepy but amusing too.The head, tail, and wings move, but you need to carefully and gently put the parrot’s foot pegs into the holes all the way in to the holes in the branch.There are electric contacts in the foot pegs, and they won’t connect unless the pegs are completely in. If you look at the top / main photo of the bird on this page, it is WRONG, the foot pegs aren’t far enough in. But it does take a little force to get the pegs to seat properly, and they’re pretty delicate, so it’s a bit tricky to get right.Once you get the bird placed happily, it is really fun to watch. Also, if you have other mechanical singing birds, it will pick up their singing and sing along, making for a Tiki Room kind of experience! Well, kind of.For the price, a great deal. Recommended.

I really wanted to like this
It worked great at first and then it started repeating “Hello” again and again. I changed the batteries and it worked okay for 3 days. Then it started repeating “Hello” again like it was possessed or malfunctioning.
