Love this!
I like to use right after I shower. Keeps my skin soft and from getting dry after showering or just cleansing my face. Feels like it helps other products absorb instead of sitting on the skin. My moisturizer and any other product seems to work better when I use this first.

Step 2 of 3
I did not realize when I ordered this that it was meant to be the middle step of a 3 step treatment thing. My needs weren’t that great, so I’m not going to spend $80 to get the other 2.I had to shake and kneed the tube a bit to get a more uniform consistency. It didn’t cause me any irritation or discomfort, and it does seem to improve my skin condition a bit.

Not impressed.
This serum felt extremely weird on my face. It burned slightly. I have sensitive skin,and it says it is a safe product for me to use. It made my face feel heavy and weighed down. I also feel like it wasn’t absorbed fully. Definitely not for me.

Super Impressed with This Trio!
I have all three pieces of the Proactiv Clean set and I have been super impressed with the results! I developed several stubborn comedones on the sides of my cheeks that just were not going away. I got this set of products & started using them in hopes that the comedones would clear up. It did take approximately a week, but I can now confidently write this review & say that this product eliminated the bumps. After each day of using this trio, the bumps reduced in size & appearance. Again, note that it took about a week for them to go away completely. I have also noticed a significant improvement in the overall appearance of my skin since using this trio. My skin, quite honestly, is glowing & appears lighter & more even in tone. I am truly loving this trio!As for this serum specifically, it has great spreadable and absorption. I use it in both the morning and evening, and it works well under make-up.

Decent product but probably not worth the price
The texture is a little waterier compared to a lotion and so a little goes a long way when distributing it on your face. It feels a little sticky when applied at first, but after a while (it takes a relatively long time to dry) it absorbs and just feels supple and hydrating on the skin. It doesn’t pill under makeup which is a plus. I had no adverse effects, but I also don’t have sensitive skin. While this product has been good so far, I also don’t think that it is worth the price.

4.5 stars – What a throwback! Proactiv!
Ah this really brings me back. The first brand to really introduce a stepped skin care system [at least in the west]. I haven’t used any of the original products. This serum was a milky creamy texture. It had some great ingredients in it overall. I got a tiny bit of mild stinging but I think my skin was over retinol-ed a bit – not the products fault. I did not love the feeling of it drying on my skin – it almost made my skin feel tight? Normally not an issue as I put a heavier cream moisturizer on top of it but the one time I got distracted and just let it dry by itself it did feel kind of weird. But I think most people would put moisturizer over this which would negate this issue overall.

Quick results
This lotion has a very watery feel. When you apply it, it feels more like a serum.For some background, I do have problems with acne, rosacea, uneven skin tones, combination dry/oiliness.When I first put the lotion on, it was very hydrating. It feels extremely soft on my skin.My skin tingles with it on. It’s a little uncomfortable, but I do think that most of these serums that are working for you are probably going to have some reaction.The lotion does not have a scent and it does dry well on the skin.I did see less redness and some visible skin improvements. I am pleased with it. In my ideal world it wouldn’t have any sort of burning feel but again I think with my skin that’s probably to be expected. I will continue to use it and I’m looking forward to continued results. But even just using it a handful of times I have seen how it’s working well for my skin. I wear it under makeup and I think it makes my makeup adhere better to my skin and blurs my pores.
