Great mixer for streamers or podcasters.
So I use this mixer for my stream and it works great. For people complaining that you either have to have to output to monitor or MAIN MIX, this mixer is meant for the PC. Even when you’re outputting to monitor, you can still get output via USB to your PC, or input from your USB. My setup is that I have a 3.5mm to RCA coming into line in on my mixer from my PCIe soundcard, then I have a XLR mic plugged into the mixer and I also have 2K-TK plugged in via 3.5mm to RCA from my streaming PC’s headphone out. It’s a great setup and I get the processed sound from my soundcard and can control the sound of my headphones. I highly recommend this for streamers as it’s cheap and does the job perfectly. 5 stars!

Amazing audio interface Buy it you wont be dissapointed….
I have tried alot of the $100 range audio interfaces all work the same but the only problem I kept running into is when I use it with my DAW (digital audio workstation) the audio in my headphones would not go that loud…as most audio interfaces max out between 5to 7 dbu but this little pyle of audio equipment for $35 does everything my focusrite does but it goes way louder the headphone output on this is 10dbu now at half volume it is super LOUD and the mic works good as well with my DAW even tho its only phanthom power is 18v it fires up my condensor mic and very low latency..I say get this mixer/audio interface it works well you will not be disappointed. I wish this was around last year b4 I bought the focusrite solo cause this is a great unit…Hope this helps someone out there in same place I was…now can go as loud as I need to with out limits and distortion and it runs off of usb power

Great For Computer Audio Out.
A couple of years ago I added a Keith McMillan 12 Step to my music rig so I could play some simple synth pads (by tapping pedals with my foot)) while playing bass. I found that the setup I had was a little unruly. The 12 Step plugged into my MacBook and for an audio out I was employinga firewire audio interface which was then plugged into a mixer which then routed to either an amp or a DI box depending on where we were playing. While this worked, it’s a bit of a pain to setup. The firewire unit required a thunderbolt to usb converter to connect to the Mac and then 2 1/4″ cables to connect to the mixer (which required it’s own power supply). Needless to say, while it sounded great, setup and teardown was tedious especially when you’re rushed for time to get on/off stage.I started thinking it was time to simplify my setup.After some research, I decided to give the Pyle PAD20MXU 5 Channel a try. It looked like it fit the bill: A single, small unit that was powered by USB, and could do audio out from a computer. It also had a basic EQ on it which was a selling point. Also, it was under $60, so why not?When I got the unit, I was surprised at how sturdy it felt. It’s metal, which is nearly unheard of in mixers/audio interfaces in this price range. The knobs, buttons and sliders are a tad on the cheap side but it’s too be expected and they don’t feel like they’re going to fall off at the drop of a hat. The only knob I’ll really be touching at any given time is the master and as long as I don’t abuse it, it should be ok.It was super simple to setup and use. Plug it into the Mac, flip the switch to On and everything worked right off the bat. Both OS X and MainStage picked up the unit and all was well.My set setup is Pyle mixer plugged into the Mac. Cable from the Pyle’s monitor output to an amp or DI box. That’s it, that’s all.One note on the monitor output, and the reason I didn’t give this unit five stars: It would have been awesome if the Monitor output was 1/4″ rather than 3.5mm. I was hoping to not have to use adaptors with the new setup… I knew when I bought the unit that the Monitor was 3.55 so I grabbed a 1/4″-3.5mm adaptor so I’m good, and it works, but not having to resort to this would have been awesome. (I know the 2 channel one has it, but I wanted the basic EQ sliders that the 5 channel offered, so I guess that’s my trade off).All in all for what I use it for, it’s a solid, simple to use little device. It really streamlined my setup and the sound I’m getting is comparable to the full firewire/powered mixer setup I used to run with. There is not hum or extra noise in the output sound, and no latency. I’ve not tried recording with it. but that’s not why I bought it.I’d recommend this to someone looking for an inexpensive mixer that can double as a computer audio interface.

Surprisingly good quality for the price
I was looking for a mixing board with a very small form factor for my home office. I needed to connect three separate outputs through low end Logitec computer powered speakers. The goal was to be able to hear all three outputs at the same time. Specifically I’m rigging:First Laptop computer using headphone outputSecond Laptop using a Presonus Studio One Audio Interface for input/outputRoland V-Combo keyboardSo in short, two computers, one of which uses an audio interface, along with a musical keyboard.I was nervous about the price because I’m used to shelling out way more money for mixers. I was worried that it would add a lot of his or distortion to my audio channels. I am pleased to say, that this thing is exactly what I needed!A really small form factor.Very quiet connection with no hiss or noise added to the signal chainNo noticeable latency on output signal chainEasy to controlIndependent volume controlsThe only drawback is that one of the computers is using a mono signal, but it does not impact my personal use case, so no harm no foul. You may also need some 3mm or quarter inch stereo output to RCA cables, along with an eighth inch stereo to quarter inch mono cable. However, these are reasonably priced these days too.If you’re looking for a solution for three inputs one simultaneous output at a reasonable price, look no further. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

When I ordered this little mixer, I had no idea how well built it was. Very sturdy, it doesn’t move around like I thought it would. The mixer is so easy to use, I had it mastered in minutes. I played my first dance with it last night, and was able to control my music like a professional. As an added feature, the device actually holds a charge for over four hours. This is especially handy when you think of how many wires and electrical cords I run just to DJ a dance. I am impressed.

Unusual for a mixer to have 1/8 outputs but that suits my purposes. It does have an internal battery. See the attached picture, it’s not plugged in. It does go thru a charge process of different leds. An rca input on a fader is great too. I like it for my purpose as it’s built well and has options I need. The knobs are solid.
